"Y'know, it's good to have someone to hang out with that doesn't judge you." EX sighed happily, staring into the void of the end.
"Everyone deserves a second or third chance, no matter how bad they are." Joe smiled as EX looked up, the hacker blushing a bit and looking away.
"You didn't even have to give me a chance I dest-"
"I gave you a chance because I know you resent your past selfs decisions. You regret it. It will take a little bit for other people to forgive you."
EX abruptly stood up, walking to Joe's side and hugging him tightly. Joe hugged back, hearing the others sniffles and rubbing circles into his back. "T-thank you. You d-don't know how m-much this means to me."
"Everyone will come around in due time."
"I don't expect anyon-"
"They will forgive you, Exy. It just takes time. And if you DARE call yourself bad things I'll show up to your house with a presentation and poetry and force you to like yourself."Joe pulled away from the hug, hands on EX's shoulders as he stared into his eyes.
EX covered his face up, slightly embarrassed about how he cried in front of someone, and how kind Joe's words were. "... I'm glad we're friends. I would've rotted in the nether without you."
"Its good you didn't." Joe stifled a laugh, "wanna sleep over?"
"You don't have anything planned?"
"Nope. Is that a yes?"
"Just this once you dork."
