It's been over three years since you arrived to Konoha from another world, and were placed on Kakashi Hatake's team 7. No one knew of your past in another world, and for all that they knew, you didn't either.
But that was only a partial lie, for when you arrived to a forest near the village, you were found to be nothing but a limp child layed in the grassy ground, hit by a strong, potentially permanent case of amnesia.Due to your habit and strong chakra source, you were taken in by Konoha as one of their ninja. Knowing the basics, you quickly passed the academy's exam and entered Team 7 as an exception of a fifth member.
You were now 16years old, and your memories from your other world had almost completely returned, including the ones that allowed you to realize that you were stuck inside a manga/anime world you loved so dearly.
There was but only a smal gist: this "Naruto" world wasn't like the one you knew. Starting from the fact that Sasuke had never left the village in this one, which caused a chain reaction to many other story events to either happen or not.************
You layed on the grassy floor near the riverbank watching the sunset of Konoha, as your thoughts lingered about your past, present, and possible future. This was something you often worried over. What happened to you was still a mystery. One day, you were found limp in the middle of the forest surrounding Konoha, and were brought to the Konohagakure's hospital, only to be found to have amnesia. No one knew what to do with you, all you knew of yourself was your own name, [Y/N].
Although as the Hokage, madame Tsunade found in you the potential of becoming a ninja, a few weeks later you entered the academy and soon passed their exam only to be placed in the Team 7 of the jonin Hatake Kakashi, who, according to the Hokage, accepted you into the team surprisingly fast.
You were thankful for the kind way everyone treated you, although not even knowing so much as where you came from, you were worried about your persona here.
What if you'd died and reincarnated into a stranger's body, who as much as you know of, might even be a criminal?
What if you just simply popped up into this world, would your actions interfere with the original plot and potentially lead everyone towards a "bad end"?You could also feel both delighted and terrified by the fact that you were placed in the most eventful team of the village, for your interference with them could really make a big difference in their future, and the future of all. These were the future heroes of this world's humanity after all.
It also worried you in a sense, the fact that Sasuke didn't leave the village. That was the major flaw and difference you met in this world compared to the one from the manga and anime. Sasuke, by not leaving, led to both him and Naruto not having been trained by the sages. Sakura fortunately had become a student of Tsunade regardless, for her desire to grow stronger was so.
Wouldn't this change the fact that Sasuke and Naruto were to become two of the strongest ninja in this whole world?

●You jump up from your position, realizing once again of the problems your stay here might've led to.
'But then again, if Sasuke were to have left, he probably would've before I even arrived here...'
You place a hand on your chin thoughtfully, closing your eyes shut in a deep thought.
You focused yourself on your thoughts so much that you didn't even notice the shadow looming over you."With your head over the clouds as always, I see?"
You jump and turn around at the voice that called you over, only to notice your sensei smiling like always, standing right behind you.
"S-Sensei..! Good afternoon." You greet, slightly bowing down your head.
"You skipped training for the third time this week, mind having a word about the subject with me?" Kakashi-sensei said, his smile suddenly seeming more threatening to you.
"Er... yeah, of course..." You answer nervously, a bead of sweat of anticipation rolling down your cheek.
As you both walked down the streets of Konoha, you simply following behind your sensei, thoughts begin to run through your head about what kind of explanation you should give him to why you've been skipping training so many times over a single week already.
'I've been thinking about this so much lately that I lose track of time, and by the time I realize, training's already over, or nearing its end. I just end up not going... what a lousy excuse that'll sound like. Sensei will definitely think of me as nothing but an irresponsible teenager at this pace.'
You think to yourself. When your train of thoughts dissipates, you notice your sensei stopping by Ichiraku's ramen, and sits down right beside a boy whose head was stuck inside his bowl with delight, motioning you to sit beside him. The boy suddenly shots his head up and his eyes light up once they land on you, making you look at him in surprise.
"Ooh, Kakashi-sensei, and [Y/N]-chan too! You really have to try Ichiraku's new menu! It's delicious!" The boy says, his eyes beaming with excitement.
"...Naruto... you'd best swallow before you speak so much, you might choke." You tell him, sweatdropping at the sight in front of you. The last thing you wanted was for the hero of this world to choke to death only because he noticed you were around.
"Yeah yeah, and by the way, why'd you skip training today? Y'know, today I almost beat Sasuke on taijutsu! You should've been there to see! I was--"
"I came here to speak to [Y/N] about it, Naruto. And she's right, swallow before you speak, you'll choke." Kakashi-sensei cut him, as he adjusted his mask back on.
You looked down on the table only to see an empty bowl in front of your sensei, and although you'd witnessed it before, your eyes still widened at the speed your sensei ate with, and sweatdropped noticing even Ichiraku blushing slightly at the sight he'd just witnessed, courtsy of Hatake Kakashi.
"Hey, Kakashi-sensei! You should eat slower as well! You might choke otherwise, y'know? Besides, it's hot in here, you should keep your mask down sometimes, y'know?" Naruto said, wearing a mischievous grin on his face.
You silently began eating the noodles you'd just been served with, and once again, your mind travels through a train of thoughts. You began thinking about how you'd actually seen your sensei's face before, unlike your other teammates, though you couldn't remember it very clearly, for it'd been years since you last saw a picture of Hatake Kakashi without anything covering his face, in your other world.
"[Y/N]..." Your head snaps upwards towards your sensei with surprise, a noodle still hanging from your mouth, and although his face was indeed more than half hidden from you, you could still tell that he wore an exasperated expression on him. He didn't have to say another word for you to understand what he meant to say: 'with your head in the clouds, again?'
You slurp you noodle into your mouth and whisper an apology, his face relaxing somewhat once you do.
