You freak out by yourself in your bedroom, walking around in circles, thinking of a solution. You thought of your best friend back from your world who, as well, had a crush for Kakashi Hatake, and the expression she'd send you if she knew of your growing feelings (and especially much higher-and existing- possibility of fulfilling their expectations) would be worse than the "thousand years of death" jutsu.

"..."

"I should compensate her for it... perhaps..?" You lead your hand to the bottom of your chin as an idea pops up in your mind. You then slap a fist in your other hand as you state: "I'll make a Kakashi x Reader fanfic! Then she'll be able to have a chance as well (lol)... Though I don't really have my way with words, there must be a way...."

With your incredible ideas noted down on a scroll, once the night of the next day falls, you sneakily make your way towards a bar in the outskirts of Konoha, where you meet the best (and only) romance novelist you knew in the the whole "Naruto" wolrd, besides its actual creator, Masashi Kishimoto himself, the one and only infamous Jiraya the Sage!

After laughter and awes resounded from the Sage, half an hour later, you found yourself sneaking back home, your scroll handed over to the Sage, you finally find yourself able to get good night's sleep in nearly a whole week.

**************

A few months later, you hurry over to the training grounds, humming to your favourite song wearing a good mood, and find yourself earlier than your other teammates, surprisingly. Sakura had a tendency of arriving first.

You find yourself wide-eyed at the sight of an early Kakashi-sensei, and run over to him, wondering which bird bickered his head on that morning.

"We have a mission today, so I came early to warn the others." He said, noticing your curious gaze. " Think you can help me out doing it?" He asks you, never taking his visible eye off his book.

"Sure thing, sensei..." Your eyes then fall over the cover of the book your sensei was reading, and you, recognizing the title, widen your eyes in surprise.
Months had gone by, and you'd forgotten already of the time you secretly handed over you scrolls of ideas to the Pervy old Sage.

"It's his latest release, the concept of this story is quite intriguing, out of the box, you could say... I somehow end up finding myself identifying with the male lead quite a bit..."
He ends his sentence with his eye stuck on yours, which analysed the cover with the utmost curiousity and interest. Kakashi then raised a hand and placed it on the top of your head, ruffling your hair strands into a messy nest.
"Though I still think you're a bit too young for these, I'll lend it to you when you grow a little older." He said, a smile seeming to form under his mask, making you blush with both his words and expression.

"T-That's not it!" You jolt in embarrassment.

Soon enough, your other teammates arrive, and you find yourself running over to Sakura, in hopes of finding a safe place to hide your embarrassment from your sensei.

'That wasn't what I meant, sensei...!'
