Chapter 11: It's him

"Jungkook," He said as I looked at him surprised "Jungkook...?" He nodded "Have you met him before? I like the boy, he's just like his father" I nodded feeling nervous. We arrived at the restaurant they agreed to meet at as we waited for their arrival. Finally, Mr. Jeon walks in as Jungkook follows behind him. We made eye contact as he looked at me surprised but remained calm "Sit down Jungkook" his father said as he sat in front of me "(Y/N), I'm surprised to see you here" He said as his father looked at me "I see you guys know each other" We both nodded "Sort of.." I said as he nodded and started to discuss the wedding. We both were still trying to grasp the situation as I chuckled "Is this fate? " I said as he laughed and shrugged "It must be, I'm still surprised" I chuckled and nodded "I feel the same way..Have you heard from Jimin after that day?" He shook his head "But he told me the wedding is in a week, it's supposed to be next month but his father decided to move it to ana earlier date to speed things up" I looked down at my hands  "It's my fault.. I suggested we confronted the father and just made things worse" He shook his head and held my hands in his "It's not.. Trust me.. He knows you were just trying to help him.. You didn't know his father was going to act that way" I sighed "Still.." He shook his head "No, blaming yourself won't help anyone.. Besides, he was going to have to marry her sooner or later" I nodded still feeling guilty "Shall we go on a walk? " He suggests as I nodded. We then excused ourselves from the table and went towards the nearby park.
