I woke up to Leo's steady breathing. His head was pressed against my chest, arms hugging my torso so I was practically trapped under him. Not that I was complaining.

I checked my phone. It was already 10:00.

"Leo! Don't we have to be on set today?" I yelled frantically, causing him to sit up abruptly. "What? No. We're not shooting today, Baz said they're working on sets for tomorrow."

I watched as he rubbed his eyes groggily, clearly annoyed I had woken him up. I snickered, sitting back against my pillow. "Oh. Sorry."

He just rolled his eyes and smiled, resting his head on top of mine and playing with my hair.

"You know, one of these days I'm gonna straighten my hair."

"You wouldn't dare," he murmured, giving me one last squeeze before hopping off the bed and making his way into the kitchen. "Do you want cereal?"

"I'm not that hungry yet," I called back, slipping on a sweatshirt and quickly following him.

"We have the whole day to ourselves. What to do, what to do," Leo hummed as I watched him pour himself some breakfast.

"We could go to the beach. Paul and I went yesterday, it was fun."

Leo placed his palms on the table and narrowed his eyes as if he was debating the idea. "Okay. But only if you come in the water."

"Who goes to the beach but doesn't go in the water?"

"Lots of people, actually," he said matter-of-factly. I laughed, shaking my head at him as he inhaled his food.

"I'm gonna go get ready then," I said in between a yawn, wandering into the bathroom and closing the door. I quickly hopped in the shower and shaved the stubble from my legs before giving my hair a quick wash.

Leo was banging on the door by the time I got out. "Hurry! I wanna go while the sun is still out."

"It's only, like, 10:30. The sun will be out for much longer," I scoffed as I heard his muffled groan through the other side of the door.

I wrapped a towel around myself and emerged from the bathroom only to hit Leo with the door.

"Ow!" he yelled, whipping around to face me as my hand flew up to cover my mouth. "I'm sorry! Why were you standing so close to the door?"

He rolled his eyes in response and sat at the edge of the bed, leaning back on his elbows. "Whatever. Hurry and change."

"Can you look away?"

"No, it's just me."

I raised a brow at him, still clutching the towel firmly over my body. He laughed slightly and flopped onto his back, bringing his hands up to cover his eyes. "I'm just messing with you."

I rolled my eyes and laughed under my breath, quickly grabbing a blue bikini set from my dresser and slipping it on. "Okay I'm ready."

Leo sat up and uncovered his eyes, shaking his hair out as his eyes widened. "Okay Bev, I see you," he said, his voice raising an octave before he winked.

"Shut up."

"Yes ma'am."

It was hot out. So hot that I could barely tan for ten minutes without becoming uncomfortably sweaty. Leo kept whining that he wanted to swim every five minutes and I obliged.
