After the big fight with my wicked father I was not at all excited for Christmas day. I was dreading it. I knew my father expected me to get him a Shrek related gift but I had no money and no idea what to do.

*BRR BRR*

I had a text message from Colin asking if I was free to go out with him and I replied yes because I had watched every single Hegarty Maths video and I was extremely bored.

*BRR BRR*

Colin told me to meet him outside.

I jumped in Mr Hegarty's silver Tesla and gave him a cheeky peck on the cheek which he replied to with a hug.

"Where do you want to go?" Colin asked.

"Pets at Home please." I replied.

When we got there I stayed sat in the car and told Mr Hegarty about the argument with my father and how I didn't know what to do on Christmas. It was so stressful I shed a tear.

Mr Hegarty's POV

I wiped away the small tear rolling down Farquaad's face and explained to him that I was fine with him staying at my flat for Christmas. His saddened face quickly turned to a beaming smile.

"Yes, I would love that."  Farquaad said whilst he looked down and tried to hide his blushing cheeks.

I lifted his chin up and looked into his ocean blue eyes... God they were beautiful.
"What do you want for Christmas?" I asked, still staring deep into his eyes.

"Mice fam."

"Ight done."

Farquaad and I walked into Pets at Home and Naruto ran towards to the mice.

"Hello there, those mice are actually blind and there was a third but it got lost." The worker explained to us.

"That's fine, thank you!" Fit Farquaad excitedly exclaimed  with a big beaming smile still plastered on his adorable face.

Farquaad's POV

Colin filled in all the information for the mice and got a cage whilst I tried to think of two perfect names. I thought of Artie which was a no, Gingy still no, Merlin... no way. But eventually the names came to me: Bandit and Roger. They were perfect names!

The car ride back from Pets at Home was epicly scary because I didn't want the mice to get hurt.
"Thank you Colin." I said. I said that with great difficulty because due to smiling so much I couldn't physically move my jaw very well.

"You're welcome, baby." Mr Hegarty said whilst doing a cute stereotypical boy thing.

Farquaad's Father's POV

Shrek.

Mr Hegarty's POV

I opened my flat door and Farquaad carried the mice in safely.

*BRR BRR*

Farquaad's phone went off and when he looked at it he turned pale.

"It's my dad." His tone of voice was culpable. "He wants to know where I am."

I was worried, I didn't want Farquaad to leave me - I had Christmas all planned out for the both of us.

"I told him I'm Far Far Away." (Haha, get it? I'm so good at puns)

I hugged Farquaad and told him not to worry about his father as I wanted it to be a stress free Christmas. I then went on Uber eats and ordered a cheeky Nandos for the both of us to eat whilst watching Hegarty Maths videos.

"I think I'm falling for you, Colin." Farquaad said as he looked into my eyes.

I replied with "likewise" as I was a very classy, respectful mathematician.

Farquaad curled up to me and lay his delicate head on my big, strong manly chest and closed his beautiful eyes. I looked down and kissed him on the forehead.

"Goodnight." Farquaad sluggishly muttered.

"Goodnight." I replied as I started to drift off into a peaceful slumber.

Next Morning

Farquaad's POV

I woke up and looked at Colin. He really did have a perfect face with a jawline that could have two right angles. He woke up. He looked me in the eyes.

"Merry Christmas baby." He quietly muttered with a cute smile on his cute face.

"Merry Christmas, you look really cute." I stated whilst losing myself in his gorgeous green eyes.

"So do you." Colin declared as he leaned over and kissed me.

Hello!! Thank you for reading this and I'm sorry if it seems a bit rushed. I have been writing little parts every few or so hours because I left it last minute haha epic. Another thing: I'm not very confident with speech and speech marks so if it's all a bit wrong I do apologise.

Merry Christmas or Merry whatever you celebrate! I hope you all have a fabulous new year.
