I didn't know it was going to take off this fast overnight to be honest😂. I hope I did an OK job at writing this since I wrote the entire thing while on prescribed opioids (I had my wisdom teeth taken out and feel not myself). Let me know if there are any mistakes. I loved the movie, but not the last ten minutes. One minute I was crying tears of joy when Ben came back and that whole bit was beautiful. But why'd he have to die? That made me upset, so upset that I wrote this low key rant on what should or could have happened. Not to toot my own horn, but I like my ending instead. J.J., I don't know how you thought the REYLO community was going to take Ben's death, but I took it very personally. That was my biggest ship out of every fandom and it is gone, just like that. I would have rather had Rey turn dark if it meant sparing Ben. I would have rather had both of them die together. To be honest, as long as they both held the same fate I wouldn't have been so salty. But no, piss off the REYLO fan base and send me spiraling down this depressing hole. WTF J.J. Star Wars is supposed to be about hope and second chances. Ben does not receive this very critical lesson or second chance. He changes, therefore he should be allowed another chance. Love all of you for your REYLO support! Stay strong my friends!
