"Uhh yeah. Opo. Magste-stay muna po ako diyan."

Opening my eyes, nakita kong may kausap si Vice sa phone niya. I squinted my eyes and looked around...nagdadrive siya papasok sa isang beach place or something.

"May kasama po ako...h-hindi!" He said then laughed. "Basta po paki-iwanan na lang yung susi sa ilalim ng doormat. Salamat manong."

I cleared my throat and it seems like it caught his attention. "Gising ka na pala." He said while smiling. I nodded slowly, "Yeah...nasaan tayo?" I asked him puzzled.

I checked on my time and it's... 2 am in the morning. "Gaano ka na katagal nagda-drive?" I asked him. Vice let out a deep chuckle, "Isa-isa lang, Karylle."

"Okay...una, we're in a beach house. Then lastly...mga 4 hours? Ewan."

My eyes widen, "Vice...a beach house? Hindi mo na kailangang gumastos..." I paused and remembered his second answer, "And 4 hours? Vice..." I sighed.

"Hindi ako gumastos," he said then parked his car. "It's my beach house."

"Oh.." I muttered. "Pero you've been driving for 4 hou--"

"Kapag hindi ka tumahimik hahalikan kita."

My lips was glued together, making a thin line. Napatawa na lang si Vice at my reaction. I rolled my eyes, "Walang nakakatawa." I muttered.

Vice laughed again, "Come on... huwag kang masyadong mainis. Papangit ka niyan." He said. "Gusto mo ba non?" I tried to hold on my smile but I chuckled lightly, "Shut up." Vice laughed at umiling, "Halik lang pala ang magpapatahimik sa'yo eh.."

You know that's the thing about Vice...well that's why I know about him. Kahit anong estado ng buhay mo or what the hell is happening around you at the moment, he'll do anything to lighten up the mood of others.

To be quite honest with you...I expect myself to cry and lock myself up in my room if I found out that my husband is cheating on me. Pero hindi eh... but I know that there's one acceptable reason why I'm acting positively right now.

Kasi manhid ka masyado kaya hindi ka nasaktan?

What? No! In all honesty, nasaktan talaga ako. I mean... I thought he love me since asawa ko siya. Pero hindi eh. He chose to see some girl behind my back.

Kasi siguro you hate him?

I don't hate Dingdong. I really don't. Kung hindi ko lang talaga alam na may baho pala siyang tinatago... I will actually marry him. That's why I said yes 5 hours ago.

Talaga?

Kasi hindi mo siya mahal. Boom panes.

H-Ha? Ye-- no-- ewan!

"K...are you alright?" I looked at Vice as he caressed my cheek. I stiffened and I just nodded quickly, "O-Oo naman." I muttered then pulled my head away.

Vice cleared his throat, "Okay." He said then sighed. But then ngumiti na lang siya ng bahagya, "Nandito na tayo." He informed me. I nodded slowly and looked at him, "Can I go now?" I asked him.

Hindi nagsalita si Vice, pero lumabas na lang siya at pumunta sa side ko and opened the door for me. "Pwede na." He said with a smile. (a/n: aw gentleman)

I smiled lightly and went out, "Thank you." I muttered tapos ngumiti na lang siya. But I know deep inside...tumatalon-talon na ako sa kilig.
