i knock on my new office door. a light 'come in' sounds from the inside. walking in, my eyes meet with hers.

jisoo, irene said her name was.

her face is soft and warm, she's stunning. she smiles as me, gesturing to me to sit down.

❝ it's nice to meet you, you must be roseanne! ❞ she stands up, opening her arms for a hug.

her perfume fills my nose. she seems comforting.

❝ oh, rosie's fine.. ❞ i giggle.

she joins in, ❝ i'm glad your comfortable with me then. ❞

i smile, biting my lip as i look down.

❝ so, i'm sure you've read all about our jennifer kim. ❞

confused, i nod.

noticing the look on my face she laughs, ❝ she's grown quite close to me. ❞

i let on 'oh' slip out, understanding why she talks so informally about her.

she hands me a journal. i look up at her.

❝ to log everything she says and does, ❞ she confirms.

❝ why? will she do anything. ❞

jisoo's face turns serious. leaning, forward she begins.

❝ you have to be wary and on alert at all times with her. there's one more thing doctors have to test her on. i've been calling it since day one that she's suffering from schizoaffective disorder.

it's a mix of schizophrenia and mood disorder. as she's already been diagnosed with schizophrenia, it wouldn't be a surprise if she is. ❞

i take it all in.

a question rings in my head, ❝ why should i be on alert, ❞

❝ jennie is very manipulative. she's good at lying. especially since she doesn't know you. her senses are incredible too, she can sense when you're tense, scared, upset- you name it. ❞

jisoo leans back in her seat, ❝ since your new, she'll be quite stubborn with you. you have to earn her trust. ❞

❝ when will i be meeting her? ❞ i ask

❝ your time table is in your journal, remember to rid yourself of anything that could be used as a weapon before you go in. ❞

my eyes widen at that. used as a weapon?! what am i getting myself into.
