Your P.O.V.

A wave of relief swept over me as I slipped my bracelets onto my still bloody wrists. I activated them and stood alert, waiting for the pieces of my suit to burst through the door or the wall and carry me to safety.

My head shot up from where I had fallen asleep working on y/n's suit trying to improve it. I looked around for the source of the beeping that had woke me up and my gaze landed on a computer screen across the room. The tracking program I had put in y/n's suit was pulled up on the monitor and a red dot showed the supposed location of y/n's bracelets. I breathed a silent thank you to my past self for thinking to put a tracker on all parts of her suit.

"Y/n, I'm coming for you."

I quickly donned my own suit and took off in the direction the tracker was showing me. Y/n must have tried to summon her suit, but it wouldn't work since I was working on it. Thankfully, her action of activating the bracelets would at least let me find her.

"Friday, call Peter. I have good news for him."

"Of course boss. Calling Peter Parker."

When Peter picked up I quickly filled him in on what was going on while making sure I was still going the right direction.

"I'm gonna find her and bring her home kid!"

"Mr. Stark, that's great! Tell me as soon as you get back to the tower, I need to see her."

"Of course Peter, I'll talk to you soon." I hung up so I could focus all of my attention on following the directions Friday had pulled up for me in my suit.

What is taking my suit so long...

I paced anxiously around the small room, worried that the men would come back before my suit showed up. I knew I wouldn't be able to take on any of them by myself when I was so tired. My only chance of making it out of this place was if my suit showed up before my abductors.

After a little while, I noticed the directions were heading toward a very large compound. I should have noticed it sooner based on the size of the massive building, but it was very well camouflaged. I increased my speed as I neared the building in anticipation of seeing my little girl and getting her out of this creepy place she had been brought to. When I found the specific location the signal was being emitted from, I was about to blast through the wall when I thought better of it.

"Friday, do a heat source check to see who's in the room."

"Analyzing heat sources."

I looked around the room's heat signatures and determined that there was only one person in the room. I blasted a hole in the wall and flew through, immediately taking in my surroundings. There, standing in the corner of the room looking terrified, was y/n. Her head jerked towards me as I landed and I had never seen her look so relieved. My face piece lifted and I rushed over to embrace her as a smile spread across my face.

"Y/n. I found you."

My head jerked up as a hole was blasted in the wall and a red-clad figure flew through. A wave of relief washed over me as Tony's face appeared and he stepped toward me. My brain barely registered when he said my name. The only thing I could think was that I was finally safe. I stumbled toward him and he wrapped his arms around me in a gentle hug.

"Dad," I mumbled into his shoulder as my knees threatened to give out beneath me. I had never been so glad to see someone. I could barely hold back tears of gratitude when he replied.

"I'm here y/n. I'm gonna get you out of here, ok. You're safe now." He tightened his grip around me and flew back out the way he had come before my captors could come to investigate the breach in their wall.

"How'd you find me?" It occurred to me that my suit hadn't ever showed up.

"I put a tracker in all the parts of your suit, including the bracelets. When you activated it, the tracker went off at the tower. The reason your suit didn't get to you first is because I was working on it. It can't take off when it's undergoing improvements."

I nodded in understanding. That made sense. I had never been so glad that someone thought to be overprotective of me. I was fighting exhaustion when I heard my dad whisper half to himself.

"I got you baby girl, I'll never let anyone hurt you again. I promise."

I smiled and whispered back "I love you dad" before giving up on staying awake. The last thing I heard before sleep claimed me was the soft reply "I love you too kiddo."

"I love you too kiddo."

It felt really good to tell her and I realized I really did mean it. I would do anything for my kiddo. I would die for her a million times.
