Your P.O.V.

"So y/n," Pepper started. "What grade are you going to be in this year?" I couldn't tell if she was actually curious about me or if she was just trying to make things less awkward since Tony...dad wouldn't talk to me.

"I'll be a freshman. I'm going to Midtown High." I couldn't wait to get out of this elevator. Maybe it wouldn't be so awkward then.

Just then the elevator doors opened. "Ok lets go find your room." Pepper guided me around the through the maze of hallways as Tony followed unhappily behind. "Here we are." She pushed open the door to a huge bedroom. "Make yourself at home."

I walked in and turned in a slow circle, trying to take everything in. The walls were sky blue, my favorite color. "This is almost as big as my house!" I squealed before running to check out the bathroom. "I love it!" I ran back to join them in the hallway.

"Do you want to unpack now or meet the avengers first?" Pepper asked, smiling at my reaction to my new room.

"I'll unpack later. I want to meet the avengers!" I moved my bags into my room and shut the door.

"Technically you've already met one of them," Tony smirked at me.

"Yeah but I want to meet my favorites." I stared defiantly at him as he made a face of mock horror. "I'm everyone's favorite," he said. I rolled my eyes. "You keep telling yourself that." I turned on my heel and followed Pepper, I assumed toward the avengers.

"Jarvis, tell the avengers to assemble in the common room." I looked at Pepper wondering who she was talking to. "I will do that right away Ms. Potts." A British voice rang out and I looked around to see where it came from. Pepper, seeing my confusion, said "Jarvis is Tony's AI. He's basically a robot hooked up to the entire tower. He helps run things." I mouthed an "oh" to let her know I understood now.

-----

We stepped into a room full of heroes. "Everyone, this is y/n. She's Tony's daughter" Pepper gestured in my direction and I waved shyly. "Hi."

I felt very awkward as all the avengers stared at me in surprise.

"Y/n this is Clint, Natasha, Steve, Bucky, Pietro, Wanda, Bruce, and Sam." Pepper pointed to each person as she said their names. "There are more of them but these guys live in the tower."

"Cool. Um, I've seen all of you on the news."

Steve spoke, breaking the semi-awkward silence. "So y/n, who's your favorite avenger?" They all sat up a little straighter, thinking I would say one of their names. I stared back at all of them defiantly. "Spiderman. He's the best."

Every one of the avengers, including my dad, looked at me incredulously (I could tell they were trying to hide their jealousy). "BUT. Second favorite is still up for grabs." They looked around and gave each other looks that I think meant 'I am better than you and I will be her favorite so back off.'

Tony walked up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Well we all know who her real favorite is so let's not fight." He pointed at himself.

I twisted away from him and put my hands on my hips. "I don't think you understand. Spiderman is way cooler than you. All you do is fly around in a tin can and shoot little lasers at things."

"Really... I'm your father. Of course I'm your favorite."

I raised one eyebrow at him. "Suuure... you believe whatever you want. It won't change anything for me."

"That's no way to talk to me." Tony looked kind of mad.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."

Now he looked really mad. "That's it. Go to your room."

"Seriously?" He couldn't possibly be serious right?

Tony glared at me. "Yes seriously. I don't like you attitude. Now go." He pointed at the elevator.

I turned and mouthed 'like his attitude is any better' to the avengers while rolling my eyes. I slowly walked to the elevator.

-----

Once I was inside the elevator I realized I had no idea how to get to my room.

"Jarvis?" I asked hesitantly. It felt weird to talk to something I couldn't see.

"Yes Ms. Stark?"

"Can you help me find my room?"

"Certainly."

I felt the elevator start to move.

After a short wait, the elevator stopped. I stepped out as soon as the doors opened.

I started walking straight, assuming Jarvis would tell me to go.

"Turn left up here. Your room is the 5th door on the left."

"Thanks Jarvis." I reached the door and twisted the knob.

"Glad I could be of service."

I stepped into my huge room feeling a bit better.

I found my headphones and got my favorite playlist playing. Then I grabbed my bags and started unpacking. This was going to be a long night.
