I think my hands and my legs were both shaking as I approached the Seijoh volleyball gym.
I couldn't believe I had been so distracted that I almost got myself killed. Asahi had saved my life, and I'd have to do something to repay him.
I opened up the doors of the gym and Oikawa and Iwaizumi were the only ones present.

"Hey! Guess...what?" Oikawa had walked up to see me, my face was probably still tear-stained and full of shock.
"Are you okay?" Oikawa asked, raising his hand up.
He grazed his fingers over the red marks on my neck. Asahi has tugged me pretty hard, then again I was about to be hit by a car.

"What happened? You're hurt."
"I'm okay."
"Iwa-Chan, I'm going to get some aloe!"
Oikawa had rushed off to find a first aid kit while Iwaizumi came up to inspect me too.
"Everything okay?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah. Just had a run in while I was walking."
"A run-in?"

Oikawa rushed back and started to open the kit frantically, looking for something to soothe the burns on my neck.
"Trashykawa, slow down. He's fine, it's not like he's bleeding out," Iwaizumi put a hand on his shoulder.
"What happened?" Oikawa insisted on knowing.
"I got distracted. I wasn't looking."

My fingers curled around the edge of the bench I had been asked to sit on. I hated this.
"I didn't see a car coming. My teammate pulled me back, he saved me."
Oikawa leaped up and hugged me. He latched his fingers tightly around my shirt.
"Holy Shit," Iwaizumi cursed, "I'm glad you're okay."

"You walked here alone?" Oikawa leaned off of me, letting me see how terrified his face was.
"Yes, I didn't want them to know I was coming here."
"You can't keep a secret like this if it means you might get hit with cars! I'm taking you home tonight, and you need to let your teammates know."
"I can't."
"At least two people. That's all. Are there two people who can keep the secret? I know they don't like me very much."
Jun nodded, putting his hands on Oikawa's worried face.
"Yes, I know two people I can trust. Now can we get to serving? I'd rather forget about what happened out there."

Oikawa nodded in my hands and we began our practice.
"Do you think you'll have perfected the falling serve before your practice week?"
I had told Oikawa about the Fukurōdani group and how we wouldn't be able to meet up for a week. He had been pretty torn about it.
"Maybe. But probably not."
"What about-how about when the spring tournament comes up?"
He really didn't like the idea of this tournament huh?
"Again, I really don't know. I still have only ever done it once."
"Well, that's why we're here, right?"
"Right."

There were many failed attempts. The serves I made actually landed within the boundaries of the court, they just weren't the serve we were looking for.
My mind had been so muddled and heated over everything. I had completely forgotten about how my teammate had noticed my scar near my ear. It was just more that I was hiding from them and soon all my secrets would come and bite me in the ass.
