●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●Walking back out into the court the next day, people were happy to see Jun's reappearance.
Bokuto was bursting with excitement seeing that Jun was in the lineup for their game.
He wanted nothing more than for Jun to try and block him.Bokuto went in for a straight shot when Jun was in front of him, fervent as he awaited the tall boy to block him.
Jun's long arms dropped it right down and Bokuto was happy about it, which made Akaashi try and wrap his head around whether Bokuto wanted to win or not.Fukurōdani ended up winning, even with the tall boy. Bokuto celebrated this and gave Jun many pats on the back. While those boys ran, Bokuto and his setter watched the girls as they played against Shinzen.
"Ruby, your ball!" Shoko yelled as she received a serve.
Ruby stayed close to the net and jumped up, her hand reached and tossed the ball, but it ended up getting caught in the net.
"Damn," she sighed as the other team received a point.
"It's okay. Maybe next time," Ace assured her."Isayama-San is having trouble with setter dumps," Akaashi observed.
"Yeah, I don't think she can reach it. She isn't getting very high on her own."
"That's unfortunate. She can probably reach them with girl's nets, but ours are taller."
"They are?"
"Of course they are."
Kuroo walked over to his friends as his team prepared for Karasuno to return from the hill.
"Girl's nets are six inches lower than our nets."
"Oh! For real!" Bokuto exclaimed, "they're doing well for that change in net height!"
"Well, except for Isayama-San," Akaashi struggled to watched Ruby attempt another setter dump, this time, she tried to use both hands. It still ended up getting caught in the net."Akaashi!!" Bokuto shook his setter's shoulders, "You should help her with her setter dumps!"
"I won't make a difference."
"I could help," Kuroo offered, "I've got a ton of tips and Kenma won't take them, so someone might as well."
Akaashi sighed, "Yeah, I'm sure she'll appreciate the genius tips that you two have to share."
"I bet she will!" Bokuto cheered, ignoring the sarcasm laced in Akaashi's tone.As Jun walked back into the gym from his run, he noticed Urami talking with Ace. She was pointing to Ruby who was currently being consulted by Bōeisa.
Jun didn't like Urami one bit. Every idea she's ever had always had bad intentions behind them. He didn't trust her and worried about what she was planning. The girls lost after Chidori missed a serve. Ace had called it after it was hit but didn't say it out loud for the first year's sake.
Ace and Urami spoke at the top of the hill, once again piquing the interest of Jun who watched from below. Bōeisa joined him and started to sign to him.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Are Urami and Ace friends now?"
Bōeisa looked up at the hill and shook her head.
"No, not really. They still fight all the time."
"What are they talking about?"
"Who knows."
Bōeisa patted his back, giving him a smile.
"I'll watch out for the team. I know you're worried. What she did won't happen again, not with Ace and I as the captains."
He nodded, still not feeling satisfied with her answer.
