"Are you serious?" Louis gawked. He lept out of bed, dashing to comfort Clem who had just slipped onto the floor. She pushed her head into his chest and he felt her tears soaking into his t-shirt.

"He told me that things weren't working out and we should see other people-" She revealed in between shaky breaths.

"Alright, let's go downstairs. I'll make you some coffee and you can tell me everything." She meekly nodded. Louis stood first, grabbing her hands to assist her. As they made their way to his kitchen, his mind went clear.

All he ever wanted was happening. Oliver and Clem were broken up, rendering him free of obstructions. And here he was, her knight in shining armor.

But at this point, after watching Clementine practically grovel at his feet, he knew that the last thing she needed right now was a lovesick puppy begging for her attention. He needed to be a friend and only a friend.

"So, give me the play by play," Louis said, passing her the steaming cup. She carefully took a sip and wiped her tears.

"I woke up this morning to a text that said 'We need to talk' and I assumed that it was going to be something about our Christmas plans but then he started spewing all this shit about how I'm not committed and things weren't working." Her lip began to tremble and her eyes were brimming with tears.

"It's alright, we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to-"

"And I'll fucking admit that I've made some mistakes. Every time you and I did something," She gestured to herself and the boy before her. "I was wracked with guilt for days afterward. But I bet that when he cheated on me, he didn't feel anything."

Louis could sense her anger. Hell, her skin was practically bubbling and her ears could spew steam. Her sadness had disappeared and he wasn't gonna lie, he was proud.

"Are you gonna try to save it?" He asked.

"No. He's an asshole."

"Then let's do something about it."

"What do you mean?"

"You are one lucky girl because I am a prank master."

"And how does that help me whatsoever?" She questioned with a smile, making Louis light up too.

"Because that means that I, in turn, am great at revenge. So what are we going for? Heartbreak, arson, toilet paper?"

"Huh?"

"We can 'tp' his house, set his lawn on fire, or seriously mess him up. Your choice."

"I wanna combine all three." She bit her lip in excitement. "Let's head back to my house and grab some things. I'll tell you my plan on the way."

"This is going to be the best weekend ever," Louis mumbled to himself as he followed Clem out the door.

Louis could barely keep up with Clem, as when they pulled up at her house she was quick to leave the car.

"So, I'm thinking that we collect a whole bunch of things that symbolize our relationship and set them on fire." She announced while using her hands to demonstrate an igniting flame.
