Third POV

She replayed his face dropping over and over again in her head.

" I thought he'd understand..." Elizabeth sighed, as she curled up in bed.

She rubbed her eyes, then fell asleep shutting down all her worries and drifting off to la la land.

The next morning~
Elizabeth woke up in a cold sweat, with yet another terrible nightmare.

"5:30 am?! Oh come on!" She groaned rubbing her face.
That's when she noticed her phone lit up, it was meliodas.

It read: Good morning Elizabeth, I wanted to wish you a good day since I noticed you were down in the dumps yesterday when you were leaving hope nothings wrong :p... oh and don't forget to remember me!
Elizabeth smiled, wondering what all that was about, but now that she was awake she could get ready for the day.

When she got downstairs she was surprised yet not that surprised to see Elaine in her home.

" Elaine?" Elizabeth called "what are you doing here?"

Elaine turned, to give Elizabeth the biggest hug ever.

"See? I told you things would work out well!"

What in the world was she talking about.

"What do you mean?" Elizabeth questioned, as Elaine got off of her.

"Yknow, with meliodas and.." Elaine trailed off.

Soon Elizabeth's face dropped, she was trying not to think about it, it was hard to believe that he forgave her so quick.

"Oh right, Y'know I was kinda surprised when he was totally chill about it." Elizabeth answered.

"Well that's good, now care to feed me?" Elaine asked raising her brows.

" here we go again..." Elizabeth sighed, as she fell yet again to Elaine's childish antics.

At school~

When Elizabeth arrived to school she noticed something was off, it mainly had to do with students whispering and staring at her.

But it wasn't disgusted stares, which meant that Elizabeth didn't have a booger that was peeking and Elaine didn't bother to tell her.

It was a look of sympathy.

That's when a group of girls passed her.

"Poor girl, her heart must be shattered."

What was going on?

That's when Elaine popped up in front of her, her face void of any emotion, which kinda scared Elizabeth.

After all she only did that when something was wrong.

"Elaine whats going on?"

No response, yet Elaine grabbed Elizabeth's arm and dragged her into the building.

That's where the others where, minus Meliodas.

They all had either blank faces or downcast expressions.

"Uh whats up guys?" Elizabeth asked her tone kinda worried.

"Well you see Elizabeth I- actually no we haven't been very truthful to you about the captain..." Diane spoke, she looked like she was about to cry.

Diane had two white pieces of paper in her hand.

Elizabeth looked at her, then back Diane.
