Third POV
Today was the first of the last week of the school year.

And man things were hectic, after all senior prom was coming up.

.
"Gah! I'm sooooo excited!" Elaine squealed as she flip the page of the fashion magazine.

She, Elizabeth and Diane decided to come over to her place to hangout.

"Who isn't?" Diane replied, as she sat up from the bed.

" it's hard for me to believe that a couple months ago we were absolute strangers, now look." Elizabeth grinned.

The two girls in front nodded.

"But ladies, as you know prom is on Thursday, so we have to start getting things together-" Diane urged

"Right.. you all are thinking what I'm thinking right?" Elaine asked as she looked at the two girls.

"PROM SHOPPING!"

Meanwhile~
The guys of the group had decided to go over to Ban's.

" so time is slowly approaching so what are you gonna get for Elizabeth?" King asked, not nothing to look at Meliodas.

"Don't know yet. It has to be something special and full of thought." Meliodas replied as he sat upright.

After the first week had passed he decided that he wanted to either get Elizabeth a gift one she could hold dearly or at least do something really, really special.

"Well if I were you I'd hold onto that thought, prom is coming up, and I know for a fact that if you don't give a 100% on you might as well shrug off that idea." Ban chuckled

Meliodas rolled his eyes, ban was right.

"Alright, then in that case you guys are gonna help me." Meliodas decided, not giving a second thought.

"Wait why do we no wait- I have to help?" King asked, looking up.

"King, it was in the job description, when you became my second best friend, meaning my problems are your problems and your problems are mine." Meliodas explained grinning more than usual.

He and ban then got up and began to get ready to go out.

King sighed because of the inevitable following after them.

The next day~

It was Monday, and first period hadn't even started when so many people were talking about prom.

"Eek I'm so excited!"

"This'll be my chance!"

"Have you seen my dress?!"

"Operation after hours is a go!"

And of course we most certainly can't forget the important part.

"WHO'S GONNA WIN PROM KING/ QUEEN?!"

Chances were that Meliodas was most likely to become King after all he was good looking, he was popular and almost everyone liked him because of his outgoing personality.

The queen however was a tough choice.

But of course the group was prepared.

And Elizabeth was shocked when she arrived to school.

When she pulled up to the front she noticed Elaine was handing out flyers that had Elizabeth's face on it, saying Elizabeth for Prom Queen.

But the inside was just as hectic.

Diane was running a stand.

"A LOLLIPOP FOR YOUR VOTE; ELIZABETH FOR PROM QUEEN!"

Elizabeth could only blush timidly every time someone came up and said.

"You've got my vote Elizabeth!"

"I'm definitely voting for you!"

"I'm so *munching on candy* gonna vote for you!"

By the time lunchtime rolled around Elizabeth already had at least 90 people come up to her and that was a little bit more than half the amount of the freshman year.

"You guys, you know you don't have to do this right, after all I don't really care about being prom queen." Elizabeth protested as she watched Diane hand out yet another lollipop.

"Don't be ridiculous, we want you and meliodas to win, as things should be, besides I don't see why not you are only going against 2 other people so get rid of the competition, right?" Elaine shook her head.

This competition you may ask? Well Liz wasn't in it she was busy apart of the organization crew so she wouldn't be able to participate.

Leaving only 2 other people.

Marie and Kyla, believe or not after their exposing they still had some mindless buffoons still on their side meaning they still had a chance.

Elizabeth was about to say something before someone announced something loudly.

"GUYS THEY ARE CASTING THE VOTES, CMON!"

Already? It was odd since most of the time they'd wait til the night of the prom, but it seemed like everyone had spoken.

Elaine and Diane ran quickly all while dragging Elizabeth along.

In the auditorium is where they all stood, where a big electronic board lit up of a poll.

As the student council president, Guila stepped up to the podium.

" welcome ladies and gentlemen, seeing as that it's a unanimous decision considering the amount of votes for each runner of the Prom king, Congratulations Meliodas!" Guila cheered.

A roar of cheering erupted from the crowd, as Elizabeth looked over to her boyfriend who felt proud as ever.

After all it wasn't everyday it was a unanimous decision for prom king.

They turned back waiting to hear for the queen.

" Now I know you all are waiting for the prom queen however not all votes have been accounted for, meaning ladies you still have until Wednesday after school to place in your votes, and to the runners GOODLUCK!" Guila finished strong.

At this point Elizabeth knew that it was final.

She had to win.

No matter what!
