Third POV

It was almost the end of the school day, leaving just 30 minutes before polls would be closed.

And for the students running, that gave them a chance to catch up with the votes.

"It's kinda strange..." Diane muttered as she looked at her phone.

"What is?" Elizabeth asked as she began to gather her materials up.

" based on statistics, there's just one person who hasn't voted." Diane answered.

"Hm, well then maybe you should go with Elaine and start promoting, that sounds like our best bet." Elizabeth suggested.

And soon Diane left with a nod.

Just then Kyla and Marie walked over.

"Oh look who we have here..!" Kyla chuckled, as she point over at Elizabeth.

"Can I help you with something?"  Elizabeth asked, raising a brow.

"Oh no thanks we don't accept things from losers unless it's answers." Marie replied all sassy like.

"Y'know that there still is one student that hasn't voterd so you aren't the winners yet." Elizabeth reminded them.

"Oh that vote is most definitely going to us, since the only person in school that hasn't voted is Liz." Kyla grinned.

LIZ!

That's right she was one of the head leaders of the prom committee so she wouldn't have time to vote.

But that also meant Elizabeth was kinda screwed, she didn't know if Liz had truly left Marie or Kyla.

"Oh speaking of Liz,  here she comes." Kyla added as she watched a slender girl with dark pink hair come down the halls.

"Hey ladies!" Liz waved, holding a craft bag in her other hand.

The three ladies waved.

"So how's it going with the decorations most people say that the gym looks unrecognizable." Elizabeth smiled.

Liz giggled "well actually-"

Liz was then cut off by Kyla.

"Who cares about that stuff? Anyways we know that you are the last person to vote so, me or Marie will gladly take your vote."

Liz glanced at the two ladies then looked over at Elizabeth.

She then did something that came as a shock to all 3 of them.
"You two clearly haven't changed one bit, I actually came here to give Elizabeth my vote."

She then handed Elizabeth her vote.

"Liz...oh uh here's your lollipop, thanks for voting for me!" Elizabeth grinned.

Liz only nodded accepting the lollipop.

"Bye prom queen, can't wait to see you at the prom!"

And that was it.

Now~

"Wait Wait Wait... you mean to tell me that she ignored Kyla and Marie and gave you her vote..?" Diane asked.

She was video chatting with Elaine and Elizabeth.

"Yeah, I know right it's crazy." Elizabeth answered.

"But hey, at least you've made friends with her otherwise you might not have been so lucky!" Elaine added.

"Right." Elizabeth agreed.

"Well now that my position has been secured do you all wanna go shopping for dresses?" Elizabeth asked.

"What kind of question is that? Of course we do!" Diane and Elaine exclaimed.

Resulting in bursting out in laughter from all three of them.

After regaining their composure they talked about other things before they finally hung up in the end.

Moments later~

Elizabeth has gotten ready for bed.

She was so happy that she got the final vote!

But from time to time she'd think about how Meliodas would be leaving and she wouldn't know how long it would be before they would meet again.

She then lightly slapped her forehead.

"No negative thoughts Ellie, let's focus on the present." Elizabeth reminded herself.

She then snuggled into her blanket, getting comfortable, heading into a nice and deep slumber.
