i seen him get mad
his face turned red while he balled up his fist
his chest rose up
his hands gripped my throat hard; choking me
"you fucking bitch" he said squeezing harder
tears blurred my vision
"what are you gonna do, cry? you fucking dirty bitch"
"go rot in hell" he slammed my head against the wall three times
he left the room.
my body felt weak
my throat hurt
my head hurts
everything hurts
im shocked
i put my hands on the wall and got myself up
i walked over to my dresser quickly and put on my hoodie, i grabbed my phone and opened the window quietly with all my strength
i went out the window my black crocs touching the grass. now closing it silently i ran as fast as i can
i didn't know where i was going i just ran and ran until i felt like i was far away from my house
i stopped running but speed walking pulling out my phone calling my brother jahseh
"hello?" he said through the phone
"ima send you my location please come get me jah"
"damn destiny, i'm not in town why what's up?" he replied
"oh it's nothing, never mind thank you" i hanged up the call
i looked at the time 1:23am
the closest police station is 32 minutes away driving
by foot is 6 hours and 35 minutes
jesus just kill me already

i unlocked my phone and dialed his number
"are you busy?" i asked
"no why?"
"do you think you can pick me up?" i asked hoping for a yes
"i'm with jah"

"why what happen?" he asked
"n-nothing thanks" i said about to hang up
"destiny, what happen?" he sounded serious
"tony put his hands on me" i said
"wh- where are you?"
"i'll send you my location"
"please stay on the phone with me" i said
"yeah yeah of course"
i put him on speaker and sent him my location
"i just sent it" i said
he facetimed me
"answer" he said
i did but put the phone facing the sky
"why is it so dark?"
"who you on the phone with?" jahseh came in the car
"your sister"
jah took the phone
"where are you?" he asked me
"i'm walking"
"why?" he asked
"for uh fresh air you know?" i lied
"your lying"

i showed my face
i had bruises, cuts and scars everywhere
"destiny"
"yeah?"
"who the fuck did this to you?" he asked calm
"tony"
he took a deep breath
"i snuck out, it's okay i'm fine, don't worry" i said
"don't worry? don't worry? how am i not gonna worry when a man put his hands on my little sister? oh my fucking god destiny. where the hell are you?"

he threw the phone at me
he put his seatbelt on and started the car

"she sent me her location" i showed him
he grabbed my phone and looked at the location
"the woods?"
