"it's cold" i said squeezing jah closer to me
"stay here ima go to the store over there i'm hungry" he said turning us around and pointing to a store that's two blocks away from us
"the bus is almost here tho"
"we've been waiting out here forever it ain't gonna come any time soon" he says pulling away from my grip and starts walking to the store
"you better run before the bus comes" i said
he sighs and starts running
i watched him the whole time because i don't want anything to happen
it's 7:34 AM and im waiting on the bus to school to get here.
it usually gets here around 7:10 but it still hasn't came yet
there's other people here waiting for the bus too
i heard the sound of a bus stopping
i look and the bus was here
i looked at jah and saw that he was at the end of the street walking
"the bus is here!" i yelled to him
he turns around and sighs again then runs towards me
everyone was on the bus already and people were looking out the window in the bus laughing
"slow ass" i mumbled
"hurry up it's cold out here"
i heard dogs barking
around the corner came 3 dogs running after jah
"oh shit" he ran faster and into the bus
i ran into the bus as well and the bus driver closed the doors
i started laughing
jah dapped up the bus driver
"your pretty fast, you should sign up for the relay" the bus driver said
jah smiled "thanks man"
we both went into the back of the bus
i sat in first because i love sitting in the inside next to the window and jah sat next to me
"you hungry?" i asked
"yeah"
i took off my backpack and looked in it
"i have cereal, my mom made rice with meat and a water bottle" i said
"really. you couldn't say that you had food when we was outside ?" he looked mad
"i forgot" i said innocently
"nah don't be looking all innocent and shit" he grabbed the water bottle and chugged it down then grabbed the cereal and ate it
"thanks" he mumbled
i rolled my eyes and closed my bag
