i was laying down;belly up on the sofa on my phone while jah was doing the same but sitting up next to my feet
"i needa go to the store to get that nerf gun for ace" i said referring to my little brother
"ok when you wanna go?"
i looked at my phone and saw it was 11:52pm
"like now because i have to babysit him at my moms house at 2" i said
"just bring him here. i miss that kid" he said
"ok i'll text my mom" i said
my legs were partly open
he kneeled down on the couch in front of me and put his hands on my knees while looking me in my eyes
i finished texting her and put my phone down
i looked him in his eyes
he leaned in kissed my lips and sat back down
"how have you been feeling lately?" i asked
"better now that your back"
i smiled
me and jahseh took a break for a while because there was so much going on and it just wasn't working out so i decided we needed a break
i stayed at a hotel i payed for, for about 3 weeks until i knew it was ready for me to come back
i came back a couple days ago and christmas is a couple days away
jahseh has been by my side, checking up on me more and just spending time with me
he admitted that he was more depressed when i left
i was as well not being with him
it did hurt me

"he can come here, i just needa pick him up" i said to jah
"okay, what time?"
ding ding
"now? shit" i said getting up
"ima go pick him up, here can you go to the store and buy him a nerf gun and leave it in the car because i don't want him to see it" i said giving him money
"no i got money" he said
"jahseh" i said
"i got money"
"just take it" i put it in his hands and grabbed my keys
"i love you be safe, please" i said before walking out the door
"you too" i heard him say
