Today was the day, saying goodbye to my city, my friends, my boyfriend.

Im standing outside beside my almost packed car as I say my last goodbyes.

mom: come on mija were going to be late

my mom yelled i give my boyfriend mark soon to be ex once one last hug, he didn't want a long-distance relationship so I guess this is where it ends. I give one last hug to my best friend liv and hop in the car, wow today is depressing. we were moving to Ottawa due to mamás job we moved pretty often but Toronto was the longest we've stayed in and it was hard to say goodbye but everything good has to come to an end right? I hop in the backseat as Papi drives and moms in the passenger seat.

im sitting in the car miserably listening to boomer music until we pull up to the house it's about 8oclock so it's pretty dark we unpack most of the stuff while I text my older brother Noah whos in college how shitty my life is. after most of the things were unpacked I went into my room, not gonna lie it was big I throw myself on the bed cover my face with a pillow and scream i don't understand why the second life gets good mamá gets a dumb ass call saying we have to move. I go look out the window that's facing directly to the house in front of me I then realize i have a roof, yessir I open the window and go on the roof well this is my new when life is shitty hangout spot, looks like imma be here a lot. im sitting on the roof contemplating my life when I hear something.

: hey

I hear on the roof across from me

me: hi

: so you're the new neighbour

me: ya pretty much

I yell across

Samy: well my names Samy

Me: well my names Maddison

we talked for a while he also was tik tok famous he said, kinda fun I guess. he finally went inside and so did i. I then had a mental breakdown and went to bed.
