Two Days Later

"Im off to the beach" I say with my towel over my shoulder "you have been to the beach every saturday for three weeks" Grayson says "Yeah and my boy- my friend and i said every saturday" I say correcting myself as Grayson raises an eyebrow "not" "official" I say in between breaths as I notice Ethan still watching the tv "are you two not gonna do anything today"I ask them as they Grayson shakes his head.

"Ok well have a good day you guy ill see you later and im going to make us dinner tonight" I smile to them as I walk out of the door and see Matt is already there "thought you would be a bit late" I say to him as he shakes his head "Being late is a pet peeve plus would never wanna be late for you" He winks putting his sunglasses on.

"Do you want to go get some ice cream or food before we go to the beach" Matt asks as we drive off and I shake my head "I'm good thanks" I smile to him as I place my arm on the armrest making Matt look down and he holds my hand making me smile.

"Thanks for taking me out of the house" I say to him as he nods "of course" He smiles as I look at his side profile as the sunlight defines his jawline even more "you have a sharp jawline" I say making him giggle "Yeah" He smiles as I nod "thanks" He says as we pull up to the beach.

[im going to skip the boring detail of the beach trip because no kissing or that is gonna happen]

"Thanks again Matt" I smile as he nods "Anytime Im just a call away" He winks at me as I get out of the car "wait come here" Matt says softly as I get back in the car and he kisses my cheek "let's make it the lips next time yeah" He says lightly as I nod biting my lip softly before walking off.

I open the door and see Ethan in the other side of the door "were you going somewhere"I ask him as he looks down at me "yeah" He says awkwardly moving out of the way letting me in "oh ok" I say awkwardly as he walks off.

"Hey" Grayson smiles "Hey is Ethan is he alright" I say awkwardly as Grayson shrugs "when you left something in him changed like I don't know what happened" Grayson says "So where did he go" I ask Grayson "For a breather I guess he looked a bit stressed" Grayson says as I nod.

I stare at the door for a few seconds slightly annoyed and curious "I'll be back" I smile as I get in my car and drive back to campus because maybe Ethan might be there. I pull up and don't see Ethan but I see Jack and jog up to him.

"Jack Hey" I smile "Oh Hey Ava" He smiles "Have you seen Ethan" I ask him as Jack nods "Yeah he just left like a few seconds ago" Jack says making me anxious "did he say where he was going" I say running my hands through my hair.

I try to think like Ethan which backfired because I don't know him that much "I'm just gonna go to a club" I sigh "thanks anyways" I say to Jack who nods as I get in my car and drive off to the club.

Personally I wasn't one for clubs especially since it's normally a Males place, I just wanted to go for a few drinks... not alcohol of course just water with ice.

I pull up to the club and walk inside and immediately notice the time was already seven, a man walks up to me with a smirk "you a stripper" He asks as I look at him "as much as I should be offended by it no I'm not" I sigh "oh just came for a drink" He asks as I nod.

"Disregard my other message, my apologies" the man said as I nod with a chuckle "it's ok" I smile "well it's not everyday you see a woman just walk into a club without being a stripper so I just assumed" He said As I nod "I must head of but have a good night" The guy smiles and walks off.

I sit down at the bar and the bartender looks at me "water" He asks "with ice please" I sigh as he nods, he hands me the glass of cold water as I down it and eat the ice "you look stressed" The bartender says "I'm known to be a good listener" He smiles "Well" I say swallowing my ice.

"Recently I have found someone I care for you know, My bestfriend doesn't really talk to me when I talk to him but I don't know how my best friend feels and I just came back from the beach with my special person and my bestfriend has gone god knows where" I sigh continuing to eat ice.

"My Bestfriend is a boy on the verge of being a man may I add" I sigh "That seems icky huh" He says as I nod "now I'm trying to look for him and I care for him I really do but I don't know where he would go" I sigh "your bestfriend sounds like him" The bartender says pointing at a guy.

"The poor guy comes here every night because he wants to escape reality and do you know what" He says as I sigh "Well I hope that isn't my best friend in the future" I say looking around.

"You see that guy he comes here late at night and talks to me complaining about stuff that I can't say" He continues pointing at Ethan who spots me and runs off "He's my bestfriend" I say "thanks so much" I smile putting a ten on the counter and run after Ethan.

"ETHAN" I yell across the parking lot as Ethan continues to run straight to his car "Please just stop" I whisper walking up to his car and standing next to his door for some reason Ethan was acting really strange and he drove off so I run to my car and follow him.

I followed him home and he gets out of his car "why are you running away from me" I say "because" Ethan says "because" I say "Look I'm going to be honest with you" Ethan says "I don't want to lose you" He sighs.

"You know your the only person that I've grown attached to lately and you have a boyfriend and your gonna be our a lot" He says "I guess I don't want to lose my bestfriend I sound really stupid" He says shaking his hands.

"No you don't but is this why you have been avoiding me recently or tried talking to me less" I say to him as he nods "look your great Ava I've never really been attached to a person so much but we have a connection that's bothering me a whole lot" He says walking away

"What the fuck is that suppose to mean" I say
