A Month Later (break time)

Me and Matt are Official as of two weeks ago and I've been staying at his house for a few days, Me and Ethan are very distant again and I think it's from him not wanting to get attached to me whatever that means.

"Morning" Grayson yawns walking downstairs scratching his hair "Hi" I smile "Have you seen Ethan he hasn't been him all week" Grayson says as I shake my head "We aren't exactly on happy terms right now" I chuckle nervously.

"Did he give you hints to where he was going" I ask worried as he shrugs "He said he was going away for a bit" Grayson says as I stand up and walk towards Ethan's bedroom.

I place my warm yet shaky hand in the door handle and open his door to see a note.

I grab the note firmly making sure not to rip it out of anger or sadness and I unravel the note to see Ethan's delicate handwriting.

To Ava,
You probably have just gotten home from being with your official boyfriend and your also probably wondering where I have gone for now it's a secret.

I want to apologise for what I said a month ago I know it bothered you I could tell, especially since you were looking for me and for me to give you a really stupid answer.

I wish I could explain myself and give you a reason as to why I'm gone and why I said the things I did but I cant you would understand.

Tell Grayson to look after you if Matt can't even though i know you don't need a man to look after you, your the boss, see you in a month.

Ethan.

"So I'm not going to see him for a whole fucking month" I yell loudly as Grayson walks in "what" He says "He's not coming back for a fucking month" I say calmly trying not to be pissed.

"But School starts again in a month" Grayson says "exactly" I say clenching my jaw as speedily walk out of Ethan's room to grab my phone.

I go to Ethan's contact and call him as Grayson walks down the stairs "who you calling" He asks "Your brother" I say to him as the phone keeps ringing "Hello this is Ethan sorry I can't make it to the phone right now but I'll probably call you later" My phone says on loud speaker.

I look at my phone with a full expression and I take a deep breath in "Ethan where are you, your making me worried please ring me I just want you to come back if I had known what you were talking about maybe this wouldn't have happened maybe we could be eating pizza right now I don't know just please tell me what's up your being weird and I don't want my bestfriend to be weird" I say looking at Grayson.

I hang up the phone and place it in the kitchen counter "what did he say I'm so confused" Grayson says as I look at up at him and shake my head "I don't really know" I lie clearing my throat.

"I'm gonna go for a drive to look for him" I say "I'm coming" Grayson says as I nod and we go to my car "You know I can't believe him" I say firmly placing my hand in the wheel and driving off "You know I thought we finally came back from what happened like two months ago" I sigh "I mean I thought that too" Grayson says making me nod as I drive towards my campus.

"Maybe something changed" Grayson says "what changed Gray" I say giving him a nickname "I mean maybe your emotional connection with him went to another level" He says "what does that even mean" I say starting to stress out.

"I can't not see my bestfriend for a month it's going to slowly eat me alive" I say tapping my fingers against the wheel and we see that his car isn't there "Maybe try Emma's house his car might be there" Grayson says "Why" I ask him "she's his emotional support for when your not here I guess" Grayson shrugs as I nod and start to drive to Emma's.

We pull up and I see Ethan's car "I'm gonna knock on the door" I say getting out of the car running up to the door. "Oh Hey Ava" Emma smiles opening the door "I couldn't help but notice Ethan's car uh is he here I really need to talk to him" I say nervously.

"Don't be silly Ethan was never here" Emma says as I turn around "his car is right there" I say pointing to it "well maybe he left it here" Emma says chuckling nervously as I pick her up by her shirt.

"Look Emma if I don't find out where my bestfriend is and if you don't give me and explanation as to why his car is here I'm going to do some serious damage to the plastic little face of yours you hear" I say tensing up "look I don't know where he went he came to my house we did things and he left in a Uber said he was going home" Emma stutters as Grayson gets out "Ava put her down" He says as I put her down.

I walk off and get in the car "what did you get" Gray asks "well" I pause "Apparently they did something he swore not to do especially to my friends and then apparently he got in a Uber and went home" I say confused "so he fucked and dipped" Grayson says as I nod.

"Home" Grayson says confused "yeah what does that even mean he isn't even home I'm going to Autumn he probably fucked and dipped her aswell" I sigh

I really want to understand what you said I really do, I just can't.

I just want to know that your ok I mean I didn't know you were gone. I thought we were fine you know, I don't care if you did Emma or Autumn or any of my friends for that matter.

Your my bestfriend I just want you back I'll do anything.

I know your not dead or anything but I'm just missing you I guess.
