The Next Day
Ethan has been avoiding me and his whole family whilst I've been getting along with his family but everyone was asleep last night so I slept in the Dolan's spare room.
This morning Cameron and I made chocolate pancakes with bananas and whipped cream, the twins and their parents came down to eat whilst I went up and had a shower.
I sit down on the bed and hear a knock on the door "come in" I say politely as Lisa walks in "morning" Lisa says with a smile "Thank you for helping Cameron with breakfast" Hs says as I nod "It's fine" I smile putting my hair into a pony tail.
"I'm assuming you haven't spoken to Ethan" She says "Grayson told me everything last night" She continues as we both sit down at the edge of the bed "No I haven't" I sigh "Your a nice girl Ava from the things I've been told I don't think you would have done this for just everybody you know" Lisa says as I nod.
"Has he told you the bad things I've done Ms Dolan" I sigh looking to her "Hunny he has described you to be a literal angel" She says "Now if you wanted to tell me what the problem was maybe I could help you" She says as I nod "run me through everything" She says as I sigh and smile.
"Well Three is so weeks ago I was out with my boyfriend and I got home and saw Ethan who was acting strange I had a chat with Grayson who saw how he was acting so I decided to go out and try to find Ethan, when I found him I followed him home and he said something about our connection and how he doesn't want to get to attached but then he said that we have a connection that bothers him a whole lot" I pause swallowing my pride.
"and then I left to my boyfriends house for two weeks and when I came home he wasn't there but he left me a note, I went to a girls house who gave him away and here we are" I say "but it's bothering you more than it should be isn't it" Lisa says as I nod.
"Well what does he mean when he says we have a connection that bothers him you know I thought he was my bestfriend" I say holding back tears.
Lisa grabs my hands "I know my son wouldn't mean to harm you my dear" She says "I know" I say "You mean an awful lot to him hunny I think he's just confused" She says as I nod "thank you" I smile.

"I'm just going for a walk" I smile to Grayson as he nods and I walk out of the Dolans residence and walk down their driveway as I let my thoughts flow into my head.
What if he likes me? Don't be stupid someone like Ethan dolan couldn't do such thing
Maybe it's my fault
Maybe I hurt him and he just doesn't want to tell me
I hope he's not hurt mentally
I hope he's ok

"ok" I sigh to myself "I can't just be in his house and not say anything" I sigh as my phone stars ringing and it's Grayson.
Grayson: you ok
Me: yeah why
Grayson: Ethan left again but he left not long after you but I don't think he knows that your out
Me: and your telling me this because
Grayson: because maybe he's going to do something stupid
Me: why do you think that
Grayson: because I heard him crying when he left and I think he left to his phsyco exes house
Me: how phsyco are we talking
Grayson: possesive, manipulative, deluded she has Ethan whipped so bad and every time she cheated he would go back to her
Me: Ethan couldn't be that type could he
Grayson: well he was that's why he acts so tough I mean everybody has a dark past they want to forget
Me: look can you come get me I want to make sure he's alright
Grayson: ok where are you
Me: I'll send you my location
I sit down in the side of the curb and two little boys ride past in their scooters giggling "phsyco ex well that took a turn to the strong Ethan I know" I whisper to myself as Grayson pulls up besides me "get in loser" He says in a girly tone.
"So I need info what is she who is she what does she do asap or imma beat the fuck outta here" I say putting my seatbelt on "well her names Aaliyah she likes to cheat and make Ethan feel like nothing and she makes him feel loved but she only uses him for money, she's really fucking petty like a whole mother level" Grayson pauses.
"Look she's not good for Ethan" He says "it's my fault" I whisper "What" Grayson says "well he wouldn't have gone back to her if it wasn't for me" I sigh "I mean if I talked to him this morning maybe he wouldn't have gone I mean this is all so sudden" I say.
"Everything is moving so fast I get a boyfriend and then my bestfriend leaves and as soon as I find him he goes back to his ex" I sigh "look calm down we will be there soon" Grayson says as I nod.
We pull up to the phsyco exes house "you wait here" I say to Grayson and I see Ethan's car as I run it and my thoughts flow into my head again
Why is everything going so fast
Maybe I need to slow down in life
I open the door and see Ethan kissing Aaliyah as she pulls away from him "Who are you" Aaliyah says "I'm nobody you have to worry about" I smile as she walks up to me to be fair she was quite meaty and it's been a while since I've done damage to someone.
"Ethan what are you doing here" I say lightly "she's allowed to be with someone he loves" Aaliyah says "shit it meat bones I wasn't talking to you" I say as Ethan wipes his mouth.
"Don't relapse" I say "you have a happy life in LA with Gray and Autumn and The boys" I continue "Look I don't know what your aiming at girl but your gonna have to leave" Aaliyah says as I turn to face her.
"Shit your so fucking annoying why didn't Grayson tell me that" I sigh as Ethan stands up I throw a left hook at Aaliyah as she attempts to pick me up and I elbow her hip.
"I haven't fought in a while so I may be rusty but Ethan you and I need to talk after this please" I say as Aaliyah rolls her sleeves up and swings at me hitting me in the face.
Ethan "stop" he says pulling Aaliyah off me as I run at her "ava stop" he says calmly "no Ethan something is to be done why don't you see" I say "please don't go with her she's using you" I say to him as he still holds onto Aaliyah.
"I came here to stop you I don't want to leave here without you I don't want to leave New Jersey knowing my best friend is going back to his ways" I say lightly as Aaliyah spits at me and I kick her in the stomach.
"can you fucking stop before I actually do something bad" I roll my eyes wiping the blood of my lip "look just please Ethan" I say as Ethan shakes his head "So that's it I just came here for no reason" I say raising my hands in the air.
"Your right the connection between us is bothering you and you know what it's starting to bother me aswell" I say as a tear falls "I didn't fucking leave my boyfriend and threaten girls just to find out your here in New Jersey relapsing and going back to your old self I totally just fucked up even trying to get this friendship back together and you know what Grayson and I care about you so much and you know we thought we lost you how am I suppose to break the news to Grayson that you don't even want to come back to LA" I say angrily.
"Your so fucked" I whisper "You and your dumb bitch of a girlfriend" I say spitting at Aaliyah "you don't mean it" Ethan says "I fucking mean it Ethan" I spit "I'm sick of this friendship this back and forth and for some reason I always feel fucking guilty" I say punching the wall walking off back to Grayson.
"Didn't sound time good" Grayson says as I sit in his car and wipe the tears off my face "I wasted my time" I whisper wiping my lip again.
"Let's go" Grayson says "I'm booking the next flight home if you want to come you can" I say.
