I feel like writing a lot so here is when Ethan comes back also this is the chapter where Ava starts to change or something but I'm not gonna spoil

[the day Ethan comes back also known as the next week]

This morning I woke up and looked over and saw Ethan wasn't there "for fuck sakes" I groan "come back already I miss you" I whine, I didn't go home in the weekend because I wanted to have my own space.

I opened the curtains and re-tied my hair making my bed I sit down in my bed running my hands through my hair kinda stressed as the door opens and I immediately look at the door and I see Ethan.

"Hey" He says as I look at him trying not to say anything "I'm sorry" He says as stand up "I thought about it all week last week and I thought about what you said" He says as I hug him "all I wanted to hear was that your sorry" I say as he place one hand around my waist and the other on my head.

"You and Grayson mean so much to me" He says as I cry silently "I didn't mean to say that our connection bothered me, I didn't mean to hurt you" He continues whilst stroking my hair "again" I hear him whisper as I let go "how's matt" he says clearing his throat "he's fine" I nod.

"How are you" He says as I look at him "fine" I lie to him "How are you really Ava" He says "Hurt, Alone" I nod rubbing my tongue against my cheek "Im Sorry" He says.

"You did all that for me just for me to turn you down" He says as I nod "It was nice meeting your family though" I say trying to change the subject "don't change the subject on me ave Grayson told me what you were doing last week" Ethan says "you haven't talked to anyone since Tuesday" He says "nobody has seen you eat since then either" Ethan says.

"I went to see Matt at his job and he said that you guys didn't go to the beach on saturdays because apparently you were studying" Ethan says "I've been sleeping" I say "you've been sleeping for five days" He says as I nod "come on Ava don't do that to yourself you've been skipping classes Mr Jenkins said he knocked on our door and you didn't answer" He says

I turned to face the window as Ethan walks up behind me "i care about you Ava" He says as I turn around "come on have a shower do your hair I'm gonna take you out for breakfast" He says "no" I whisper "have a shower Ave" He says as I look at him "you need food" He says lightly as I sigh and nod grabbing my clothes and going for a shower.

We arrive at in'n'out and Ethan looks at me "I'm not hungry" I say to him "Yes your are" He says getting out of the car and I follow him as we walk inside.

He orders me a chocolate shake with a cheeseburger, "sit down" He says to me with a smile as I nod and find a table to sit at as he lays for the food and comes over.

I stare at him empty "ava your so different" Ethan says sitting across from me "how" I say confused since I was sure I hadn't changed "your bags are visible you look like you haven't felt loved in years you just look empty" He says as I grab his hand "I am Ethan" I say "when you decided to stay behind a piece of my soul felt like it had been torn out of me" I whisper.

"Matt isn't actually concerned about me I know that's he's cheating on someone with me" I sigh "Problems just keep flowing into my life and they stay there and it weighs me down" I say yawning and rubbing my eye as our food comes.

"I regret dating him every single day because I don't want to hurt his actual girlfriend" I say "I don't even like him" I say quietly "wait so your just dating him" "because he makes me feel loved" I say interrupting Ethan as I look at the food "Ava" Ethan says softly.

He looks at me for a bit and then looks at the food "look just eat for now ill sort matt out" Ethan says "I'm cold" I whisper as Ethan takes off his Jersey and gives it to me "put it on" He says as I put it on and I grab the burger and start eating it.

I've never starved myself longer than two days to be fair I didn't even know i was inside for five days, me and ethan finish our food and I see Ethan take my phone "what are you doing" I yawn "Calling Matt" "What no why he's nice" I say grabbing my phone off of him "trust me I knew this was gonna happen I mean he didn't even see you on Sunday for your two month anniversary" Ethan says as I hand him my phone.
