~7 Years Ago, Moki Town~
Birbies could be heard chirping as the sun was rising, showering the entirety of Tandor with the dim morning sunlight. The alarm clock of an eight-year-old child went off. The kid had brown hair that reached the behind of his neck. He was currently wearing his Baashaun themed pjs. He groaned as his eyelids fluttered open, revealing his piercing blue eyes. He smashed the alarm clock with his palm. With a grunt he groggily stood up rubbing his eyes. He pressed the light switch, and shielded his eyes, as bright light filled the room. He looked at the calendar, which was hanging at the wall at the opposite side of his bed and frowned. It was the 24th of December. Christmas Eve. He frowned. He used to love Christmas a few years ago when his mother was alive. But ever since she was gone, it wasn't the same anymore. The first Christmas without his mother was awkward and the second even worse. Gone were the days when his mother would wake him up by softly singing him carols and then treat him with the goodies she had cooked up. But Christmas this year would be even worse. His mother was not the only one gone, his 'father' was as well. The boy shook his head as he stood up and got changed. He wore a red sweater and black pants, along with a green scarf, tied in a triangle shape around his neck. He sighed as he picked up his backpack and started heading down the stairs. Normally, school would have ended yesterday, but there had been an emergency teacher's meeting so it got delayed for today. He sighed, it wouldn't be so bad. 'A dose of my annoying classmates before the holidays is needed, I suppose.' he thought.
He exited the room and climbed down the stairs that lead to the living room. His auntie was sitting on the couch, watching her favorite soap opera. She was wearing an orange kimono dress and had her white hair tied in a small bun.
The brunette grimaced 'Honestly, how is she watching that crap? It's as cliché as a cheesy fanfiction.'. He sighed "Morning Auntie." he greeted, plopping down on the couch next to her.
The elderly woman smiled "Morning Jordan. Did you sleep well sweetie pie?"
Jordan shrugged "Hn. I guess..."
His Auntie smiled "Good! Are you set for school?"
Jordan nodded "It's not like we had any homework..." he mumbled.
The 60-ish woman ruffled her nephew's hair "It's only the last day. After that, two weeks of freedom!"
"And boredom." he added dryly.
Auntie sighed as she shook her head, before remembering something "Oh, I almost forgot! Theo and Cameron will come for dinner tomorrow." she announced.
Jordan tilted his head "What for?"
"To celebrate Christmas of course!" Auntie stated matter-of-factly.
Jordan gave a small grunt "Whatever..." he said standing up.
"Don't forget your jacket." Auntie reminded Jordan.
Jordan groaned "Auntie!"

Jordan was walking towards Moki Elementary. The town is small and so is its school. The school is relatively small. It is a two-story building, with a small playground. The first story had two classrooms and the second had the remaining four along with a science and a computer lab. The playground consisted of an arena, which was used for the school's Pokemon tournaments, where Pokemon bred in the lab were used, and for the students to take a break between classes. Jordan crossed the gate, that led to said playground.
