"Just come on, this way," Charlotte says pulling me with her hand covering my eyes.
"Charlotte, what are you doing, it's almost the new year I thought we were gonna watch the ball drop," I said confused.
"Just come this way" She said as I carefully walked with her. We suddenly came to a stop and she removed her hand from my eyes.
I was confused at what I saw. There were candles lot every were and the lights were dimmed a little, we were standing off to the side of the pool, rose petals were on the ground in the shape of a heart. And in the middle of everything... was Brian. He wasn't dressed up or anything, he had a hoodie and joggers on, just the way I liked him. I looked at him puzzled.
"Brian?" I asked confused. He walked towards me and took both my hands in his.
"Y/n. I really don't know if I can get all the way through this without breaking down" He starts, but then takes a deep breath before talking agian. "I remember the first time I saw you Y/n, you were wearing a big hoodie and leggings, your hair was in a bun and you had glasses on, but you still managed to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, you still are. My plan was to knock you off your feet, but then I actually knocked you down, sorry bout that by the way" I laughed a little as I remembered him turning the corner and knocking into me, Brian let out a little chuckle too "Your literally the sweetest, cutest, caring, and the best person I have ever met. I love you so much, and I praise you every day for putting up with me. I can't thank you enough for helping through all my tough times, especially when Max died" I saw sadness flash through his eyes. "I love everything about you. Like the way you bite your lip when your concentrated and how you twist your hair when your nervous, and when you scrunch your nose up when you think something is gross. I really want to spend the rest of my life-" He started to tear up a little. Awe, my heart.
"Awe, Brian," I said.
"What I'm trying to say is" He got down on one knee, pulling a box put of his pocket. I suddenly realized where this is going and covered my mouth. "Y/n, will you make me the happiest guy in the universe and start off 2020 as my fiance?"
I literally couldn't say anything as a tear fell down my face, I nodded and he smiled, sliding the beautiful ring on my finger. I stood on my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck, capturing my lips in his. He happily kissed back, smiling into it. I was soft and gentle, just like our first kiss. We pulled away and he spun my around as I giggled.
"Happy new year everyone!"
