Chapter 4: Earth?

Hiya! Me again! So btw the Earth Colette lands on isn't modern Earth. It's dinosaur Earth. Just lettin' ya know.
*Colette's P.O.V.*

I don't get it. Where am I? How long have I been in this pod? Days? Months? Years?

It doesn't matter now. The pod is out of fuel and I'm caught in an unfamiliar planet's pull.

"Colette, how much longer are you gonna sit there with that worried look? We're not gonna die. This pod has plenty of safety features to prevent that." Dark harshly commented. 

"I can't use my powers, Dark. How am I going to hide what I am?" I replied in a whisper.

"Well, you could just give up and let me possess you." Kira made sure to add that in. She's always a ray of sunshine, huh?

"No, she can't do that. She still needs to grow stronger so she can take back what's hers." Light was clearly mentioning Kitty to get me motivated, but it wasn't working.

I really want to give up. I know I can't, but still. Will this feeling ever go away? I've started questioning everything. Like, did Kitty really ever care about me? Did anyone? Or does no one care about how close to death I am?

I ' m  s c a r e d

"COLETTE!!! Are you okay? You've been mumbling to yourself for a while now. I think you were close to triggering a panic (Panic! At The Disco you mean! Okay I'll escort myself out now. Sorry.) attack for yourself." Light sounded worried.

I didn't have much time to reply, though. Because soon after she said that the pod crashed.

I get up out of my pod to see what kind of intelligent life lived on such a large planet. This place is at least twice as big as Suclose. To my relief, there was no intelligent life. But unfortunately, the life that was there was big, dangerous, and hungry, whilst I was weakened.

I ran back to the pod and asked Kira for some help. "Kira, please! I need your help to move the pod to a cave!"

"Fine, but after I help you I get to possess one of those creatures!" Kira bargained.

"Okay. Just help me first." Kira and I moved the pod into the shelter of a cave.

I wandered this planet for a few days. Nothing about it is remarkable other than its size. The other planets in the system don't seem to be habitable. This is the perfect place to relearn how to use my powers.

I start by making some targets in some trees. I'm going to start with blasting pure emotion since that's easiest. On my first try, I barely managed to make my hand glow with energy. How am I ever going to save Kitty like this?

After a few tries, my hand glows with my energy easily. It'll probably be a few years until I'll really be able to use my powers.

I focus on trying to teleport to my pod. Of course, it doesn't work. None of my powers will right now, but I have to recover quickly or I'll never get strong enough to save Kitty.

*Possessed Kitty's P.O.V.*

I know what Colette's doing. She thinks she can become strong enough to save me. Ha! Wait until she finds out that she's way too late.

She's not a threat. Not one to me anyway. Still, my mother says that we should curse Colette. If I do underestimate her and she's stronger than she looks, we need to slow her down.

"Colette will have a hard time indeed, and she shall not be freed. Every 1,000,000,000 years she shall travel to a whole new world. If this warning she does not heed, she will surely bleed. Breaking the curse does require, the royal family plus a 'squire'. If she does not succeed entirely, Colette shall be cursed for eternity." I chanted using dark magic.

Maybe that was harsh, but it's her fault I suffered.

I don't know if everything I've posted so far is really understandable from the outside, but I might do a Q and A in a future chapter if you are confused.
