*Colette's POV*
It's been months since I left. I'm stranded in the middle of enemy territory. Since I was a princess the patrol guards will recognize me. They won't believe that I ran away. I guess this is what I deserve.
"Of course this is what you deserve. What else could you possibly deserve?" A mysterious voice said behind me.
I turned around and froze at the looming figure behind me.
"Wh-who the h-heck are you?" I cursed myself for stuttering. "Wait... Are you a demon?"
"Correctamundo princess."
"Don't call me 'princess'."
"And why not?"
"Dark!" I yelled trying to summon my companion. She always knew how to deal with demons.
"Yeah, Cole- OH SHITAKE MUSHROOMS! IT'S A DEMON!" Dark exclaimed.
"Yeah. Kinda why I called you. Can you help?"
"I dunno. Can I?"
"I swear on all things holy that if you act like a smart alec right now I will put you in a replica of Light's room!"
"Alright! I'm sorry! Jeez!"
"Didya forget about me being here, Princess?" The demon reminded us of it's existence.
"I said don't call me "Princess"." Was my reply through gritted teeth.
"Careful, Colette. This demon could be stronger than she looks. Getting beaten by a demon is the last thing you need." Dark warned me.
"She's right, Colette. You never know how strong a person could be until they strike." For some reason, Light showed up. Great
"Listen, friend. I don't know who you are, but you need to leave." Dark growled. Dark has dark powers so she and the demon would be on a level playing field if they fought. It's kinda weird to think that my embodiment of pessimism is better at fighting demons than me, but whatever.
"Hiya friend-o, as you know I'm a demon. You can call me Kira. You can pick a different name if you want though. Seeing as you're technically the one who made me." The de- Kira responded "And I'm afraid I can't leave. I was born out of Colette's negative feelings and her immense emotion. If I leave I'll slowly drain of energy and die. I would be nice to you. But I have orders just like any new demon. And those orders are to hurt you."
"She's already hurt enough, thanks." Light practically growled. That's weird. Normally she's so optimistic.
"Rude." Was all Kira said before retreating to her home in my mind.
Dark and Light left too.
At least I know how the de- Kira! At least I know how Kira showed up. I would call her the demon, but that's really racist. So I'm not gonna.
Anyway, back to my panicking. I decided to grab the ship's repair kit to repair the control console.
As much as I don't wish to land anywhere in this solar system, I'm going to have to. The pod only has so much fuel and I'm too panicked to effectively use my powers.
What a situation...
