Chapter 10: R-Reese~

Hoi there, it's Lils. I'm writing this right after last chapter. T.W.: Same as last chapter with draining, paralysis, and violence. There is also smut now. So yeah. You know the drill, don't read if that'll bother you (or if you're a minor) for the smut I will say when it's happening, just so you know. Anyway, enjoy.

*Reese P.O.V.*

I blink a few times to get a grip on my surroundings. I look to my side to see Colette tied up, gagged, and asleep. I go to reach for her just to realize that I'm tied up too.

"Colette. Colette!" My hushed yells have no effect. She must've woken up at some point.

I start untying my ropes attempting to get free. I manage to get out and I start working on getting Colette out.

After a while, I manage to completely free Colette from her restraints. I also remove the gag from her mouth.

"R-Reese?" I look down at Colette. She's so cute.

"Yeah?" I try to stay quiet so I don't get Poppy's attention.

"I- I can't move." Shit, she's still drained.

"It's gonna be okay. Are you able to absorb energy?"

"Y-yeah, I think I can do that." She started taking in energy from the room around us. I guess a lot of emotion has been present in this room. Normal air started glowing with energy and flowing towards Colette. Being able to be in the presence of a sight so breathtaking is the highest honor she could give me.

"Let's g-"

"Guys, Poppy and Chiso are gone." I... I thought Chiso put Melnya under control, why didn't he take her with them.

"Melnya, bow." Wha- But Colette doesn't like being seen as royal?

"Yes, Your Majesty." Melnya bows. Wait... Colette's testing her, isn't she?

Colette teleported the ropes that were holding us onto Melnya, effectively tying her up. "Tch. You're under Chiso's control still, aren't you? Otherwise, you would've known." Of course, she's always been adamant about how she rejects the crown, her lineage. She wouldn't lie to me on that one.

"Freeze!" Poppy paralyzes both me and Colette as she enters with Chiso. She runs to Colette and immediately drains her so she can't do anything.

Chiso makes the mistake of coming near me before I've been drained. "Mph-!"

I pull him into a kiss and before I can get spit in his mouth he bites my lip trying to stop me and cuts it open with his teeth. Once my blood enters his mouth he can't help but let me go, I've taken control. I pull Poppy into a kiss and get both blood and spit in her mouth. She backs away from Colette, giving her a moment to recharge. Now I'm controlling all of them, I can snap them out of it.

"Chiso, stop controlling and untie Melnya." Melnya regains control over herself and Chiso in a trance-like state quickly undoes the ropes. "Chiso and Poppy, reject the demons that you've been infected with."

"B-but we can't. We don't have the energy or the knowledge needed to reject them. Even if we did, they'd just re-possess us as we'd be too tired to resist or get rid of them." Poppy's got a point.

"I can help them reject the demons!" Colette runs over and holds her hands up facing both Poppy and Chiso. Blue energy flows from her hands as gray energy flows from Poppy and Chiso. Suddenly a huge bright light shines, blinding me. 

When my vision clears I see Poppy and Chiso apologizing to me and Colette. Poppy returns Colette's energy and does the same for me. Melnya says she's taking them to Suclose with her to get more info and supplies for Colette. Colette and I have the apartment, with /very/ thick walls, to ourselves for at least a month.
