The art for this chapter is my own drawing. Pls, don't judge, ik it's bad. Now without further ado, I bring you: The Life of Colette: Ancient Earth.
*Colette's P.O.V.*
It's been about 10ish years since I've landed on this strange planet. It's covered in earth, plants, and much more. There is no noticeable tech here. I think I'll call this place Earth: it seems fitting.
The beasts here are ferocious. They keep trying to eat me.
There is some good news, though. My powers are back. Not quite as strong, but they're here. I can teleport about halfway around the world. So there's that.
Kira and Dark have also been considerably nicer! I wonder why?
Oh well, it doesn't matter.
*Dark's P.O.V.*
Colette's been seriously improving. I mean, 10 years ago she couldn't teleport an inch, now she can teleport halfway around the world! In her defense, she was way better at using her powers before we left. I think what happened caused her powers to go inactive, but that's beside the point. She still needs to get stronger if we have any hope of getting home to save Kitty and Minty!
Some more good news though. Me, Light, and Kira have gotten really good at using our powers too! Light can heal with her Positivity Mist™!
I do get worried about Colette, though it's probably nothing, she keeps having really bad nightmares. It gets so bad that she'll have a panic attack in her sleep.
Wait, what's that. A giant beast approaches, and I freeze. "Oh my gosh..." I say in fear. I run away screaming. Darn it, I should've taken Kira up on her offer of teaching me to teleport!
"Dark! Hold on!" Someone called out. I didn't see who because I was busy running for my life.
"*Blast* *Blast* *Roar of death*"
"Dark! Are you okay?" Colette runs up to me and squeezes the life out of me. I'd be better if you weren't trying to kill me. "I heard you scream and... I was so scared! You need to learn how to teleport. What if next time I'm not there? What if next time I don't hear you? What if-" I knew I had to cut her off. At that rate, she was about to have a heart attack.
"Colette, I'm okay. You don't need to worry. Kira's going to teach me how to teleport tonight."
"Okay... if you say so..." And with that, Colette ran off to keep practicing to save Kitty.
I really hope she succeeds.
*Kitty's P.O.V.*
Hahahaha! It's so funny how she thinks she can save me!
But it's not! She'll succeed!
Do you really believe that? Do you truly believe that that little girl, who couldn't use her powers when it counted, will really grow strong enough to defeat me? When even you couldn't? If so, you're even more naive than I thought! Ahahahahahaha!
She's got the determination! She's got the power! All she needs is to grow past her emotions!
Ha! Have you seen how much she's struggling? That'll take a long time.
That doesn't matter, she'll overcome it! She'll destroy you! And she'll save me!
You're such a little anime girl. Get your head out of the clouds. It's been ten years and she still can barely use her powers.
*Melnya's P.O.V. (Gacha Studio reference? No? Nobody remembers that? Ok, I'll go.)*
It's been ten years since her pod left, and I still can't find her. It's weird, she would usually put off readable energy, but it's not showing up. Oh well, I still need to find her.
I know she was trained and all, but still. She's a princess. She needs protection.
I knew for a long time that the king was abusing her, but I didn't dare leave. I needed to keep my job as a guard so I could monitor her. Now I have to find her to make sure she's okay.
"I wonder where she could be?" I ponder aloud.
"Where who could be?"
Who or what was that?
"I'm Kira. Are you looking for Colette?"
How did she know?
"I know because I'm a demon that Colette's negativity created. I suppose you're Melnya?"
"Yes, I am. Where is she?" If Kira's here then that should mean Colette's still alive!
"She's on that planet there. You couldn't detect her because her powers aren't working properly."
"Ok, thank you" I promptly head down to the surface of the uncharted planet. It seems to be the only planet capable of supporting life in this system.
I spot Colette
"Colette, how have you been? I have been searching the cosmos to find you!"
"I've been okay. I just-" Colette started to break down sobbing. "It all my fault! It's my fault she's possessed! And I can't even get my powers together to help her!" She fell down, trying to stifle the sobs ripping through her throat. I moved to comfort her.
"Colette, calm down, it's not your fault. You were and still are to young to face a king who has been ruling the kingdom for as long as anyone can remember. You were only 10. It may have been a day before your birthday, but 11 is too young too." I just gave her a whole speech, I'm old.
"Heh, thanks Melnya... What's today anyway? I lost track."
"Today is March 22nd." Oh wow, I found her just in time! Her birthday is tomorrow!
"Heh, just in time for me to turn 21, huh?"
She doesn't sound too excited....
"Hey, I'll take you to a bar I think you'll like tomorrow, okay?" Getting her started right away might be a bad idea, but oh well. She's earned it.

Hi everyone! Once again, I'm so sorry for being gone for so long. I didn't get any questions to do a Q and A with, so that'll get put off. Literally comment on any chapter, and I'll see it. *Spoilers for next chapter* After Colette's birthday celebration there will be a major time skip. I'm talking hundreds of millions of years major. This is because I wasn't supposed to write this much of this time in Colette's life. This was just supposed to be chapter 1, but then I wanted to add the curse to add tension, and then I wanted to introduce Melnya, and now I want to do the birthday. So to stop myself I'm just gonna tell y'all about the time skip so that I have to do it. *End of spoilers* Sorry once again for the delay. I hope y'all are enjoying this story as much as I'm enjoying writing it. Bye bye!
