"... My guards"

He didn't show any expression.

"guards? Like bodyguards?"
He raised an eyebrow in disbelieve.
I rolled my eyes feeling kind of annoyed by his reaction. Of course he needed an explanation.
"yes sort of.."

"that's it? You're gonna tell me you have two bodyguards and not gonna explain yourself?"
I rolled my eyes again. He was pissing me off.
I can't possibly tell him why they're here with me it's too private and I barely know him. I was looking forward to hanging out with him but he's just being noisy

" well? "
" it's very personal. It's also none of your business"
"well it kind of is because I'm responsible for you an-"
"says who?"

He rolled his eyes. He was very annoyed at this point. I just smirked and headed to the door intending to leave.

"you know... I was really looking forward to spend time with you while lucas is gone... I have my reasons that I'm here and that they're with me I'm just not comfortable talking about it with someone I barely know"

He was looking in my eyes. His eyes softened and I turned around to leave. He really hit the spot and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
"I'm sorry..."
"it's fine I get that you're curious and I will probably tell you eventually just not right now..."
He nodded and I left the room.

Chan's pov
I sat on my bed. The talk really made me even more interested in her.

I know she's hiding something and I'm going to find out what that is.
She- wait! Shiiit I STILL don't know her name screw this

I exited my room and went down the stairs just to see all the boys sitting on the couch staring at me.
But there was no sign of the misery girl...

"hey guys where did she go?"
"I think she said something about going home.."
I shot changbin a surprised look.

Is she crazy?

"did she say anything about HOW she's gonna get home?"
The boys eyed each other. Then finally hyunjin spoke.
"she said she lives nearby so she's gonna walk.."

Yup she's crazy...

I sigh massaging my temples. I opened the front door.
"don't do anything stupid when I'm gone. As always changbin is in charge and don't you dare touch my suitcase. Get it?"
They nodded their heads. Tbh I have them under a pretty good control and I'm kind of proud of it not gonna lie.

I stepped outside. It was quite late already and the sun started to set. The problem is that the car ride was not only 20 minute long but that we were driving thru the woods which could be very dangerous she could get lost.

I decided not to take the car in case she decided to be a smartass and go find a shortcut.

I was walking along the rode when I heard a noise. It sounded like someone was running. I suddenly heard a scream.

shit!

I followed the voice in panic.

"HELLO?!"

"HELP!"

I followed her voice and stopped when I heard the sound of a gunshot. My heart dropped. I started running faster praying to whichever god there is to let her be alive. My heart was beating like crazy.
I saw a silhouette in the woods. A woman silhouette. As I was getting closer I sigh from relieve seeing that I found her.
I ran to her not knowing if I should hug or scold her. She looked over her shoulder and I noticed her puffy red eyes. I hugged her tight making her flinch a little. She was shaking while she was holding onto my shirt.

"I-I'm s-sorry.."
"shh don't worry.. Are you okay?"
"I'm sorry.."
"hey hey.."

I let go of her body and cupped her cheeks. I looked in her beautiful eyes seeing no spark what so ever. She looked empty. What was that?

"don't be sorry... tell me what happened"
"I was walking home and I saw this man who was leaning on his car. I passed by but he caught my wrist and pulled me back and whispered in my ear something in the lines of 'what is someone like you doing all alone in the woods. Need a friend?' ... I was terrified ofc and I managed to get out of his grip and I started running away when I suddenly heard a gunshot-"

"they weren't shooting at you? Oh thank god I was so worried tha-"

I saw her glaring at me.

"right sorry. Continue please"
"as I said I heard a gunshot and I started running away but then I looked back and saw the man running after me so I screamed for help. I heard another gunshot and when I looked back the man was dead and soaked in blood. I'm just so scared wh- Why is this happening i-"

She started crying and I hugged her tightly. My heart was breaking seeing her like this. Tbh these woods are really dangerous especially for young women. We should really move.

We then headed back to the house. We got in the car and I drove her home. She fell asleep fast and she was so beautiful.
She.. The.. Umm..
Oh cmon really? This is like the 14th chapter and I STILL don't know her name? Ughh this is killing me!!!!
