Chapter 14

Joe.

I sat, scrolling down my twitter feed at my computer desk, feeling extremely bored. I was planning on recording a Fanfiction reading video with poke but apparently he decided it was more important to record a video with Bayani.

I'm slowly starting to hate Jordan ( A/N I feel you Joe :'( )

I huffed out loudly as I read through some tweets asking where part two of the Fanfiction was. I decided to tweet out about Poke and I not being able to record at the same time at the moment when I was interrupted.

My skype started playing the random tune it plays when someone wanted to video call you and I started to wonder who would skype me instead of using Team Speak. No one ever uses skype these days.

I looked at the called ID to see 'Lia tho <3' and a smile creeped up on my lips. I haven't talked to her since UHC and I missed speaking to her. I answered the call and smiled brightly, waiting to see her smiling back at me.

Nope, I wasn't greeted with a happy, smiling Lia. I was greeted witha shaggy-haired brunette, who I realised was Ryan, with a concerned look on his face. My eyebrows furrowed at the sight of him there instead of Lia.

"J-Joe.." He spoke, slightly breathless as if he had just ran around the place for a good while. "I-it's Lia." He gulped as he spoke, trying to catch his breath back as I sat up properly, wondering what was wrong with Lia. "She had a panic attack." He informed me.

"Where is she?" I asked quickly and he held up his index finger as he ran out the room, making me freak out even more. I covered my face with my hands as I stared at the screen, waiting for Lia or Ryan to appear.

My computer made the Team Speak dinging noise and I bit my lip, cropping the skype call, still able to see it. I clicked on the Team Speak tab, making sure I could still see the Skype Tab. I looked through my messages.

Pokediger1 poked you!: hey bud! :p ready to record?

I rolled my eyes. He couldn't have picked a better time to ask me if I wanted to record. What if I was busy recording with someone. Oh no - it's okay Poke - I'll just wait for you until you are ready to record. Forget about my recording schedule.

You poked Pokediger1!: no dude. im busy.

Pokediger1 poke you!: geesh i thought u were waiting dude.

I ignored his snarky comment and closed my TS tab, putting all my attention on the Skype tab as I waited for Lia or someone to appear. Quiet calls and yells were heard from the distance in the call and I started to panic.

Crap! What if something happened to Lia?! Oh god, i'm starting to get really worried about this. I stood up from my chair and started pacing back and forth in my room, waiting for a noise from my computer.

Multiple dings from TS were blaring from my computer, distracting me. I quickly sat back down and opened my TS tab again, going to my profile and putting myself on 'Do not disturb' and moving into the 'busy' chatroom.

I muted all my TS noises and stood back up, starting to pace around the room again, waiting for any notification. A loud bang was heard from the other end of the Skype call and I sat back down quickly, enlarging the call to see Lia infront of me with her head on the desk.

Soft sobs were errupting from her body, making her shake and sniffle. "Lia..?" I asked in a soft voice, watching her head raise up and stare at me. Her brown eyes were clouded in tears and black lines were rolling down her face which I assume is her mascara.

"Joe." She called out loudly as another series of sobs escaped her lips, making her sniffle and couch as she wiped her eyes. I felt really horrible not being there for her. I wish I could comfort her and hug her right now.

"Hey, hey. Let it out." I spoke in a soft voice, trying to calm her down. "It's fine, okay?" I asked her quietly as she nodded, continuing to cry quietly. I could see Brayden leaning against the doorframe, staring at us with worried eyes. "What happened?"

"W-Well" she spoke, a hiccup escaping her lips as she blushed lightly, a little laugh escaping. I smiled brightly at this as she continued her story. "I was doing a dare and- and lotsof people were looking at me.." she spoke.

"They... They were like closing in on me and getting really close. Joe, it felt like they were suffocating me." She cried out, quickly wiping away stary tears. I bit my lip, wanting to hug her as hard as I could right now.

Hmmm. I stood up from my chair and wrapped my arms around my computer. This was the best I could get to comforting her. Small laughs were heard from the call and I couldn't help but smile, knowing I made her semi-happy by doing that.

"You're still the idiot I know." She spoke and I watched as Brayden ran a hand through his hair, slightly less panic in his eyes than there was before. "It's good to know you haven't changed since the last time I talked to you." She spoke. "You wierdo."

I laughed at her weak insult as she spoke again. "That was totally not prime." She laughed, trying to use prime in the right context. It was pretty close, I guess. "Thanks for calming me down, Tiger." She spoke.

"Anytime, Hot Chocolate girl" She laughed, obviously remembering the last conversatin we had IRL beofre I left for Idaho. "You never fail to smake me smile, Li." I smiled at her, keeping true to my statement.

"Right back at you, Jo Jo." She laughed at her choice of words and I laughed back at her idiotic nickname for me. "I've got to go and finnish my dare video now. Can I call you back in like ten minutes?" She asked and I nodded quickly, a smile on my face.

She then waved at me, with a bright smile on her face. "Oh shit my ma--" She then ended the call there making me laugh as she now realised about her mascara. I opened TS up again and looked at my messages.

HEY GUYS!

k so i realise you guys are like:

'the frick? she aint updated in like two weeks!'

well- you see that is because of two reasons!

1) My laptop broke and my family are always on the family computer. (i'm using my brother's laptop)

2) I can't use my phone because i write really sucky when im on my phone. (even though i already write sucky XD )

k im thinking of doing a double update...
