Chapter 22

Lia.

A loud clap of thunder woke me up from my wonderful sleep and I sat up quickly, hugging my covers around me.

It wasnt that I was sacred of thunder or anything, Australia barely ever gets them so its pretty frightening, especially for a girl who's only heard thunder a few times!

Another clap of thunder was heard and I squealed, pulling the covers over my face. I had an idea as I stood out of the bed, wrapping one of the blankets around me. The cold floor instantly cooleddown my feet as I stepped on. I ran tip toeing towards Brayden's room.

I peeked my head inside to see Brayden lying down, face first, on his bed with his body sprawled everywhere. I walled up to the side on his bed and pushed him slighgly. He just groaned and ignored me.

I pushed him again and I heard him sigh before sitting up properly. "What?" He asked, tiredness clear in his voice. I don't blame him though, its like two in the morning.

"Brayden..." He looked at me with concern on his face. "Its thundering and I'm...." I paused and he seemed to get the message, moving over and pulling up his cover. I dropped my blanket and crawled in beside him.

Another loud bang erupted and I squealed a little, clinging onto Brayden as he moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Shhh, its alright Li." He spoke softly. "I'm here, you're fine." He spoke and I could see his dark brown eyes through the dark.

I smiled to myself and wrapped my arms around his lower waist as I closed my eyes and rested my forehead on his chest. I couldn't even hear the thunder anymore. Now my thoughts are all "Brayden will protect you. You're fine"

Brayden.

I felt something tickle my nose and I sighed deeply, raising my hand to rub my nose... Only I couldn't raise my hand, something - mor elike someone- was lying on it. I opened one eye to be met with a faceful of brown hair.

I glanced down to see my legs entangled with Lia's and my arms were wrapped around her lower waist. Her back was facing my and my head was previously resting against the back of her head - we were spooning.

I bit my lip, not knowing what to do, considering I would wake up Lia if I moved too much. I tried to remove one of my arms from around her until she grabbed it and dragged it back across, making me sigh.

I had no idea what to do. I hated making people wake up in the mornings - if i hated it, they probably did too. I bit my lip as I slowly untangled my legs from hers without waking her up. She then rolled around so her forehead was pressed against me chest, my arms still wrapped around her.

"Morning." She spoke casually and I glanced down to see her with her eyes still closed as she hugged into me. "Wait." Her eyes shot open and she quickly yanked herself away from me. "Jesus, i'm sorry."

"Uhmmm." I spoke awkwarly, pulling the covers over myself. "It's fine.. you uhhh, you just came in here through the night 'cause you didn't like the storm." I spoke, awkardly rubbing my hand on the back of my neck.

"Oh." She spoke, her cheeks turnbing a light shade of red as she blushed at my wording. "That's pretty awkward." I laughed along with her. "Well, i'm off to go get some proper clothes on." She motioned to her onesie as I nodded.

She then stood up from my bed, glancing back at me before leaving my room. I let the smile fall from my face as I collapsed backwards onto my bed. Holy fuck what the fuck am I meant to do?! (A/N ayoo Katayyyy, i see you there getting all mad xD)

Lia.

"Oh my god, it was so awkward, Bee" I spoke, putting my head in my hands. Bee and I were skyping right now and I had just explained what happened to me and Brayden a few moments ago. I rubbed my forehead as I sighed loudly.

"Dude, I think it's pretty cute." She shrugged and I looked up at her with a blank look on my face. "No, I mean how he was fine with letting you in his bed" she paused. "And he didn't even try anythin with you.."

"Bee, I don't think Brayden would 'try' something like that on me." I stared at her, slightly shocked by her words. Brayden isn't the sort of guy to try something like that on a girl who is staying in his bed. AS A FRIEND! HOLY JESUS

"I've got to go now, Sorry Lia." She spoke as she looked to the side of her computer. I shrugged and she smiled before ending the call and leaving me in silence once again. Brayden had been downstairs ever since I had left and I was pretty worried about our next encounter.

My teamspeak then decided to speak up. 'Hey! Listen!' I head set Navi's call to my message notification on TeamSpeak and I was honestly pretty in love with it, it's voice was so cute! I clicked on my teamspeak tab to see what it was.

xJordan poked you! : hey lia! you up for a rec with me graser and h?

you poked xJordan !: sure what suite?

xJordan poked you! : were in recording room 7

I switched channels as I opened up my minecraft and put my headphones on. "Hey Leeeeeeee ah." Graser yelled loudly, making me laugh. "Skooshka skooshka!" I smiled at his own little language and he was giggling like a maniac.

Liam and Graser then started to have their own little conversation about #Grasbee, making me giggle a little. Bee wasn't impressed with that.. "What are we playing then, boys?" I asked, joining Kastia, assuming they were on there. 

"Some lucky block wars? You guys up for that?" Jordan asked and I hummed in agreenent, Liam saying yes as Graser started talking all about an idea for a video with Bee, .Brayden and Liam to be in with him.

Hearing Brayden's name made me bite my lip and smile slightly, then my smile faultered, remembering the awkwardness. Speaking of Brayden.. "LIA! DO YOU WANT--" I couldn't hear the rest of what he said beacuse Graser interrupted.

"the d?" Graser spoke, making me gasp loudly and mute myself, typing to Jordan.

you poked xJordan !: brb im gonna see what rusher said

xJordan poked you!: okay, hurry bac k :)

"Do you want any breakfast?" Brayden asked and I shook my head, not feeling hungry. "Okay." He spoke and disappeared round the corner. I put my headphones back on and unmuted myself to hear Liam saying "Yeah, i totally ship them."
