"Let's go, (N/n), we're almost there!"

"Chill out, Seaweed-face, I'm right behind you!"

"Well, then, you're going too slow, babe!" Percy teased his girlfriend (Y/n) as he led her through the woods of Camp Half Blood.

"Percy, where are we even going? I don't even think we're supposed to go this far into the trees." Said (Y/n) as she stepped over shrubs and rocks.

"We're on an adventure, (Y/n). Don't spoil it with questions!"

"Did you just quote Mary Poppins?"

"...Maybe." Said Percy with an embarrassed smile on his face.

"You're a dork!" (Y/n) laughed as they continued to trek along. The young couple passed through the tangles of the forest before Percy gasped and put his hand in front of (Y/n) to stop her movement.

"Ok, the surprise is right up ahead, but before we go any further, I'm gonna need you to close your eyes and keep them closed 'til we get there."

"Babe, I know it's a surprise, but why do I need to shut my eyes?"

"Because I said so! I promise it will be worth the wait." Percy begged the (g/p) girl. She gave him a wary look before sighing and placing a hand over her eyes.

"You better not let me fall, then." (Y/n) warned as she held out her other hand. The son of Poseidon grinned widely before taking her palm in his and leading her slowly forward.

"Trust me, I won't let you down."

Percy pulled (Y/n) along, helping her over uncovered rocks and tree roots, careful not to let her trip. When the two finally got to their destination, he let go and took a few steps back.

"So, can I look now? My arm is starting to get tired." (Y/n) claimed impatiently.

"Just one more thing." Percy responded with a small laugh.

(Y/n) heard a very faint rustling before she felt something being placed upon the top of her head.

"Ok, now you can look." The black haired boy said as he placed his hand on the small of (Y/n)'s back. She opened her eyes to see a small clearing that had been decorated with strings of light and flowers of all different colors. In the center of the clearing, there was a blanket and picnic basket on the ground.

"Oh my gods, Percy! This is beautiful! How did you manage to get all of this?!"

"Well, I asked a few of the Apollo kids to help me get the lights and the Demeter cabin helped me grow the (f/f)."

"You did all of this for me?"

"Of course I did! It's our anniversary, I had to do something special." Answered Percy, grabbing (Y/n)'s hands and holding them.

"Oh no, our anniversary is today?!"

"Yeah, it is. Did you forget about that?"

"No, I would never forget! I just... thought that it was tomorrow..." (Y/n) explained embarrassedly, rubbing the back of her head.

"Aw, don't worry about it, (Y/n)! Now that you know it's today, you can enjoy the food with your wonderful boyfriend!"

"Oh, very funny. If you don't quit kidding around, I won't give you your gift."

"A gift!? What did you get me?"

"Well, this." (Y/n) told Percy before pulling a small blue box out of her back pocket. She opened the box to reveal a small silver bracelet with an ocean wave pendant.

"(Y/n), this is awesome! Thank you so much, babe!" Percy thanked as he picked up his girlfriend and twirled her around before giving her a sweet kiss on the forehead.

"You're welcome, baby! Now, why don't we enjoy this picnic for a while?" Asked (Y/n) with a kind but playful smile on her face.

"You don't have to ask me twice!" Percy responded before he started jogging over to the blanket, (Y/n)'s hand in his.
