Wednesday Addams x Cousin! Reader

A/N: Not a romantic oneshot. Also, I made Wednesday sort of more... Animated and sarcastic than she's portrayed in the movies.

"Mother, Do we really have to do this? I don't even know which cousin she is!"

"Of course we do, Wednesday! Your father and I promised Aunt Aura and Uncle Omnicio we would let her stay for the summer. And Addams' never go back on their promises. Or hexes for that matter."

It was a slightly hectic day at the Addams Mansion. The whole family was preparing for the daughter of Morticia's sister to arrive. Everybody was very eager to meet her. Everybody except for Wednesday.

" I know, but why can't she stay with Aunt Ophelia? I'm sure she won't mind. Besides what kind of a name is (Y/n)? It sounds like some kind of disease. And not the good, deadly kind."

Wednesday turned away from Morticia and crossed her arms angrily. Morticia just smiled and shook her head.

"Wednesday, It may not seem like you'll like her very much, but I promise you will get along very well."

"Of course you will!..." Gomez piped in from the top of the stairs.

"(Y/n) is quite the little devil in the best possible way. I know you'll enjoy her company!"

"I find that very unlikely."

"Can't you just try for your mother and I? At least for a while?"

Wednesday pondered her options before sighing.

"Fine, I'll try. But only for a short time."

"That's the spirit! I'm so glad you've agreed, because she's here!"

At that very moment, Lurch and Thing swung the doors open to reveal (Y/n), who was dressed in a simple white tee shirt and a pair of light pink jeans. Her hair was done in a style that was perfect for her hair length. As she stepped in, Wednesday saw she was carrying a flowery, red suitcase.

Wednesday immediately regretted her decision as the girl spoke.

"Hi, everybody! I'm so thankful you all are letting me stay here for the summer! I can't wait to hangout with you."

" (Y/n)! Welcome to the Addams Mansion! We're all thrilled to have you here." Morticia said as she walked over to give (Y/n) a hug.

"Hi Aunt Morticia! I'm thrilled to be here! Where's Uncle Gomez?"

"Look up here!" Gomez called as he descended down the staircase.

"Hey, Uncle Gomez! How are you?"

Gomez chuckled lightly before responding.

"I'm just perfect now that you're here! Let me introduce you to everyone!"

Wednesday scowled as her father introduced (Y/n) to Pugsley, Granny and the others. She had a strange feeling about this new cousin and she didn't like it.

"And we finish off introductions with Wednesday, my only daughter!"

(Y/n) smiled once again as she began to talk to Wednesday!

"It's so good to finally meet you! I hope we get along!"

"Don't count on it, (Not-Y/n)"

"It's (Y/n)..."

"Whatever."

Gomez set a hand on his daughters shoulder and began to scold her.

"Now, Wednesday, none of that. Why don't you go ahead and show (Y/n) to your room?"
