Rowina POV
It has been two days since I was kidnapped. I couldn't think of anything better than staying in this hellhole or escaping to my death. I'm not allowed to know his name so, this guy or say my 'boss' wanted to be called: Unknown Caller.
I am not tied up to a chair anymore, wait no, let me rephrase this. I'm imprisoned here but free to move. This guy is so messed up on so many levels, why do you think he's not stopped? Me neither. I have no idea why he isn't or why I'm not saved yet.
"Last night went smoothly, Rowina," a creepy voice appeared speaking, bringing two cups of hot coffee, and placing them on the table.
I nodded sadly, not looking at his eyes drinking the coffee that burns my tongue instead.
"Careful there. I just made it, relax for a bit."
Did this crazy guy just say RELAX? Does it look like I can relax being trapped here for TWO DAYS?! I'm losing my sanity each day passes, I swear to god! I rolled my eyes blowing my coffee a few times before drinking.
"You look pale. Did you not sleep?" the unknown caller said bluntly, typing on his laptop and drinking his coffee professionally afterward.
"I'm fine, boss. Just thinking about my friends," I replied indifferently colder. Throwing myself into the sofa, decorated with white fluffy pillows that look entirely deceiving. I bit my lip nervously feeling anxious for not attending school regularly.
I checked the time quickly noticing breakfast had started for them. I miss them. Aubree was an amazing person. She's kind of cute and hot in my opinion. Mariah seems very happy around me, and also a bubbly person who makes me smile. Dale is just an old friend who appears suddenly and tries to prove that he's my best friend. I love them all dearly.
It's already Friday. Has this case thing been going on for a week?! This is too much for me. I need to calm down, or I'll lose myself again.
"Our next case will be happening soon, Rowina."
I heard his voice echoing in my ears again, I hate this. I fucking hate him and this bullshit! How many days do I have to endure? Is this my fault for getting lost? Or is it what it's meant to be? These days, I'm questioning myself every day with unclear answers but many likely assumptions.
"I understand. What's our next case going to be?"
"You'll see," he smirked evilly, before leaving his things behind (Messy guy).
Jay POV
I was waiting at the school gate with my friend Mason. He's the best guy you could ever ask for. Total bros yo! We have known each other since Freshman year in Theater class, and yes, I love acting! Lost in thoughts of my mind, my pal tapped me lightly.
"Are we waiting for your new friends?" Mason asked curiously, giving a calm warming smile before looking back at his phone.
"How did you know, man?" I answered surprised. "It's obvious and all, haha! Not just any friend, Dale Mounce!"
Mason glared at me with concern while I was in my Lala land thinking about my dream boy. Speaking of the prince himself! Everyone had eyes on him, not just me. I wish it was only me but love can be unfair sometimes.
