Jade
I managed to stomach about half of the sandwich Perrie ordered me before I started to feel sick. Perrie made me promise that I was genuinely full before she got a box for me to try and eat the other half later.
A half hour later we were making our way back to my car, leftovers in hand. We had spent the rest of our time in the cafe debating on going to the party tomorrow. I, for obvious reasons, don't want to go. There's way too many easily accessible substances there and I really want Perrie to stay clean. She swears that she wont do anything and just wants to go to see everyone and catch up. I can't say I trust that that's all she would do there.
About 10 feet from the car, Perrie stopped walking.
"Hey, Jade I'm gonna head out from here, I've got something to take care of." She said, avoiding eye contact.
"And what do you have to take care of? I can take you if you want" This girl is not doing what I think she is doing.
"No, no its okay babe. I can walk" Oh my god.
"What do you need to do? I don't want you to walk in this cold and get sick." She better not be doing what I think she's doing.
"No, you should get back to your mom, I don't want her to worry about you," She closed the gap between us, with me against the driver side door of my car. She put her finger under my chin and our eyes met. For the first time in over a month, our lips met in a kiss. If it weren't for the fact that I think she's going to meet her dealer, it would have been a wonderful kiss. Her arms found their way around my waist and my hands held her face. When our kiss ended, I put my forehead against hers as we just enjoyed each other's presence.
"Promise me." I said.
"What?" She asked, clearly confused.
"Promise me you're going to stay clean." I said, "For me. Please." That made her falter. She leaned away from may face and looked at me.
"Jade I-," she paused, "I want to make that promise, and I will try, honestly, but I also don't want you to get disappointed in me." I sighed. That was confirmation. She's probably going to her dealers house or maybe finding drugs elsewhere.
"Are you sure you sure I can't take you anywhere?" I asked, changing the subject. She finally let go of me and started backing up.
"I'm sure babe, I'll call you or swing by later, okay?"
"Let me drive you home at least." It was my last attempt to get her to stay with me.
"Bye Jade," she said before she turned around and started walking off. I let out a breath of air I didn't know I was holding. I unlocked my car and sat in the driver's seat without turning it on.
I know she's struggling, but if she won't even let me help her, how could I possibly live with myself?
I watched Perrie walk further and further away from me from the comfort of my car. She was walking considerably quickly, considering the cold. Once Perrie got a safe distance away from the cafe, I turned on my car and started following her to her destination.
~~~~~~~~~~
I followed Perrie for about 15 minutes before she walked up to a house that I had definitely been to before.
Jesy Nelson's apartment was not where I was expecting Perrie to go to, but then again, where was I expecting her to go?
Sorry its short, it just made sense for that to be where I cut off this chapter
