Perrie

"Jesy wants to see you,"

I glanced up from my place at my desk and looked at my brother.

"What?" I asked.

"Jesy? She said she was texting and calling you but you haven't responded," Jonnie said, leaning against the doorway of my room. I shook my head and turned back to the homework sprawled around me.

"I haven't needed anything from her, so I saw no reason to respond," Suddenly, my chair was flung around and my brother was in my face.

"You really need to call her back,"

"Jesus back up, would you? I'll get back to her eventually." Jonnie shook his head and put his hands on my shoulders, forcing me to continue looking at him.

"No. If you know what's good for you, you would call her back" And with that he stood up and walked out of my room, leaving me in a bit of shock. He's apparently friends with her, so it's not a stretch to think that maybe he knows something is up with her. Or me. Or... Jade.

Suddenly I had a jolt of energy. I threw on the first sweatshirt and shoes I could find and was out the door, ready to start my walk to Jesy's house.

~~~~~~~~~~
When Jesy opened the door to her apartment, the last thing I expected was for her to shake her head at me.
"I try to contact you for a damn week and this is the one day you decide to show up at my fucking house," She said, "Leave Perrie, come back tomorrow," She attempted to shut the door on me, but I caught it with the palm of my hand and let myself in.
"You had my brother come and talk to me so I'm here" I said. For the first time ever, it seemed like Jesy was nervous about something. Almost every bone in my body wanted me to get out of there, Jesy was never nervous.
"Perrie I mean it today is not the day, just come back tomorrow," Jesy said, motioning me to her front door in an attempt to get me to leave.
"No what was so important you had to get my brother to talk to me about it." I asked. Her eyes shifted around until she decided to close the door and bring me into her kitchen.
"Listen, Perrie, we can talk just later okay. Please listen to me this one ti-" Jesy got cut off by a violent knocking at the front door. "Shit" Jesy muttered under her breath. "Perrie, I need you to go in my bedroom-"
"That's a bit forward of you don't you think?"
"Go into my bedroom and stay there." Jesy continued rushing around her apartment, "Do not make any noise, do not come out of there under any circumstances, do you understand?" Jesy said, in the most stern voice I had ever heard her use on me. She reached in between two couch cushions and pulled out a hand gun, tucking it into the back of her jeans.
"Who's at the door Jesy?" I asked tentatively, still not moving in the direction of her bedroom.
"Perrie," She warned me, "I'm going to open that door in about five seconds and I need you to be in my room, trust me on this, you do not want to be out here when I open that door."
I shrugged. "I can handle myself" The knocking at the door increased, the person on the other side clearly impatient.
"Perrie, last chance, please go in the bedroom," I kept my feet planted where I was standing in the middle of the living room, still just generally curious as to who has the great Jesy Nelson scared. When the knocking on the door got even louder, Jesy shook her head and turned to open the door.
Once I saw who was on the other side, I instantly regretted my decision.
A large, very tattooed man made his way into Jesy's apartment, followed by a tall skinny guy with a backpack. The tattooed man's eyes instantly fixed onto me and his face broke out into the creepiest grin I have ever seen.
"And who's this pretty lady Nelson?" He rasped, walking closer to me and caressed my cheek with the back of his hand. I will never take Jade's soft hands for granted ever again.
"That's my little cousin man. Leave her alone." He flashed me a smile, then returned to the other guy he came with. He took the backpack from him and swung it on the kitchen table.
"So I got 500 xanax, 520 Addy, and 100 grams of indica. Whats the math on that?" he asked the other guy.
"$3,268" Jesy nodded and pulled out a wad of cash, re counting it to make sure she gave him the right amount.
"Ay you sure you don't want any Fentanyl?" The large guy asked. Jesy shook her head.
"Nah, too many overdoses, I don't need that"
"You ever try Fentanyl lil cousin?" he said, turning to me. My eyes widened but I didn't respond.
"She dont want that" Jesy said from across the room, trying to get him to leave me alone.
"I didn't ask you Nelson, you wanna try it?" He said, getting really close to my face again, generally making me uncomfortable.
"No thank you, I'm good," My voice sounded so small and I absolutely hated it.
"She dont want it" Jesy kept trying to insist. He didn't listen, instead he lightly pushed me to sit on the couch and pulled out his pocket knife. He pulled a small package of what I'm assuming was fentanyl and wiped a bit of it onto the edge of the knife.
"Ah, come on, don't you trust me? It feels so fucking good, like the longest orgasam you'll ever have. Just try it" He put his pocket knife uncomfortably close to my throat, waving it trying to entice me into trying it. All I know is that this shit will fuck me up. But I also don't see how else I can get out of this.
Dear god, don't let me die tonight. I took the small dosage off the knife. And damn did that shit hit me. The drug seemed to work nearly instantaneously as suddenly, the world was sideways. Well technically I was now laying sideways on the couch, but I didn't feel that. Actually, I didn't feel much of anything. It was like I was floating outside of my own body. I was vaguely aware of the large guy putting something on my leg and asking for a bunch of money that I obviously don't have. I closed my eyes, suddenly feeling extremely tired. When I opened them again, Jesy was holding an object that looked suspiciously like my phone and putting my thumb to the fingerprint reader, cursing mildly under her breath. Whatever she's tripping about I'm sure she'll figure it out I thought before drifting off once again.
