Jade

The next day.

Perrie and I haven't spoken since our facetime call yesterday and I felt horrible. I know she didn't mean anything she said to me, but that doesn't mean that it didn't hurt. I just need a little space so I can take in everything that has happened since Perrie showed up in my doorway unannounced. She still has my heart, but considering the circumstances, I'm not exactly sure if it's in my best interest to stay with her.

I spent the day doing absolutely nothing, essentially just moping around in my room and watching various movies and tv shows on my laptop. Mum came in every once and a while trying to get me to eat something or at least leave my bed for more than just a bottle of water or the bathroom, but throughout the day I was only able to stomach the other half of the sandwich Perrie got me yesterday.

It was around seven forty five when mum came back into my room for about the tenth time that day.

"Jade" She asked, standing in the doorway of my room, looking a little nervous.

"Yes mum," I murmured, my back still to her and my main focus remaining on the episode of Euphoria that hit a little too close to home.

"Debbie called me just now, telling me to make sure to keep an eye on Perrie tonight," she said, "I think she's under the impression that Perrie is spending the night here." At that, I perked up. I paused Euphoria, and turned to face my mum. "So, is Perrie coming over later?" she asked.

Now I had a choice. I could either cover for her and figure out what she's up to by myself, or expose her and potentially face any issues with her mother. Knowing Perrie and her mum have some issues and tensions between them, I opt to save Perrie this one time.

"Um yeah, we're gonna go on a date later and I asked if she wanted to stay over, I hope that's okay." I lied, "We're actually meeting in about a half hour so I should probably get ready, thanks for reminding me."

"Alright, you two be safe, do you think you guys are going to be out late?" She asked, sounding like she bought my lie.

"I'm not sure, but probably, Perrie planned what we're doing so I honestly have no idea, but don't wait up for us. We'll be quiet when we come back" Jade you're rambling, you only ramble when you're lying, shut up. Mum raised her eyebrow at me but didn't say anything

"Okay," She said, exiting my room and closing the door behind her.

I would bet good money that Perrie is at that party I told her about yesterday. Stupid mistake really, why I told Perrie about it is a great question that I'll never be able to anwser.

I flopped on my bed and started talking to myself, a force of habit when I'm upset.

"You're gonna go get her, aren't you Jade." I muttered, "Of course you are, she has you wrapped around her damn finger and you fuckin know it." I sighed and rubbed my face before standing up to change into something that wouldn't get too many stares if I showed up to a party. Before leaving, I cleaned off my bed and did a quick re organizing of anything out of place in my room knowing Perrie would most likely be there later.

Pulling up to the address written on the "invitation" going around on people's Instagram and Snapchat stories, the first thing I noticed was the noise. Music was thumping around the house so loud, I could feel it as soon as I stepped out of the car. Despite it only being around 9, it seemed like the party was in full swing. There were tons of cars parked on the street and I could already tell it was going to be difficult to locate Perrie and get her out.
