Chapter 9

XiaoZhan came back to office around 4 pm. Yibo has done his report.

"Ah! You're back!" Cries Yibo, excited.

"Yeah... How? Have you finished the report?" Xiao Zhan rubs the back of Yibo's head.

"Yeah! You can check on it now! It's on your desk!" Yibo replies. He hands over his cold drink.

Xiao Zhan smiles. He takes the cold drink then walks over to his desk.

"Such a lovely hubby... I envy you..." Li whispers once Xiao Zhan takes a seat on his chair.

Xiao Zhan glares at him. Li grins.

"Lucky me!" Xiao Zhan snorts.

"Beware to the wolfs that might snatch your hubby away...!" Li chuckles.

Xiao Zhan pouts. He turns to Yibo's desk, but he jumps up when he finds Yibo's face is inches away from him.

"What are you whispering about?" Yibo asks.

"Freak! You scared me!" Xiao Zhan runs his chest.

"Zhan Zhan... Can you give me a ride home?" Asks Yibo.

"Didn't you bring your bike, ma?" Xiao Zhan furrows his brows.

"Yeah... But I want you to drive me home everyday..!" Yibo pouts.

"I might can't drive you home everyday, since sometimes I'll get a meeting or a client and buyer to see the houses...! So you better ride your bike everyday!" Says Xiao Zhan.

"I can wait," Yibo insisted.

"Don't punish yourself. Otherwise you'll get sick!" Says Xiao Zhan, while checking out the report.

"I'm not!" Yibo shouts, earn the attention from the other staffs and traineed.

Xiao Zhan sighs.

"Ok. As you wish!" Xiao Zhan admits defeat.

Actually Yibo is avoiding encountering  with Wu Ya Ting who keeps pestering him and asks if she can get a ride on Yibo's bike to get to her rentedq flat. He doesn't like Wu Ya Ting being clingy at him and how she tries to pursue him.

"Yibo! Can you give me a ride? Yes?" Wu Ya Ting appears unexpectedly, startled Yibo.

Xiao Zhan looks up at her and raises his brow.

"Aish! I told you, I can't. I'm not a cab driver. I also take a ride on Zhan Zhan's car!" Yibo gushes.

"But how about your bike?" Wu Ya Ting whines.

"It's broke down!" Yibo huffed.

"I saw it was fine when you are arrived..!" Wu Ya Ting being stubborn.

"It's broke down now!"

"Since when?"

"Since you asked me a ride!"

"Aw! That's so coincidence..!"

"Yeah! That's why. You go home alone!"

"Why don't we take a cab together?"

"My cab is here!"

Yibo pointing at Xiao Zhan, which slaps away by Xiao Zhan immediately.

"Owh? I saw you two look quite close. Do you know each other more than in the office?" Wu Ya Ting suspicious.

Yibo looks at Xiao Zhan.

"We're roommate!" Xiao Zhan answers.

Yibo's face beams with happiness in instant. He smiles widely.
