Timeskip Luke POV

I push my mashed potatoes around not really paying attention as I hear my mom saying something before I snap out of it from my mom snapping her fingers in my face

Mom: "Luke what's bothering you?" I sigh and look at her

Me: "who was my father?" She freezes before she looks away and I look to see Todd, my stepdad, looking down at his plate not looking at either of us

Mom: "I told you before we will not speak of that man" I groan

Me: "mom please I want to know about him" she huffs and glares at me

Mom: "Luke I said we will not spe-" I slam my hands on the table making her gasp

Me: "everytime I bring up my father you always lock up! Why won't you tell me about him!?" She slams her hands down standing up

Mom: "because he was a horrible man who left us!" I slam my fists onto the table standing up as well

Me: "then maybe he left for a reason! Have you ever thought of that or has your hate for someone who left clouded your mind!?" Todd stands up and glares

Todd: "do not talk to your mother like that!" I slam my fists harder

Me: "SHUT UP TODD!!!" My mother gasps and Todd holds her and I look down to see I dented the metal table unclenching my fists

I storm out of the house slamming the door behind me and I flinch hearing the glass in the door break behind me and run into the woods hearing my mom and Todd calling out for me

Timeskip

Me: "stupid fucking parents" I kick a rock hard sending it flying into a tree chipping it "I just want to find out who my father is" I yell punching a tree but instead of pain I break the wood off

I step back staring at my hands in shock before clenching them and yelling on frustration

???: "What's got you upset?" I look up and see Sam laying on a branch kicking her legs lazily and her tail swishing

Me: "you here to sniff me some more?" She grins giggling

Sam: "ooh very feisty aren't we?" She falls off the branch and lands gracefully "your scent is no longer human" she walks around me and I growl annoyed

Me: "what do you want Sam?" She leans close looking into my eyes and she frowns

Sam: "you're very upset" she cups my cheeks and she looks concerned "what's wrong little human?" I smack her hands away and walk over to a tree leaning against it

Me: "my name is Luke and why do you care?" I huff and jump back a bit seeing her suddenly in front of me

Sam: "c'mon "Luke" why don't you trust wittle ol me?" I growl and punch the tree next to her making her jump back on all fours seeing as I blew a chunk out of the trunk

Me: "nothing. You wouldn't understand tigra" she growls standing on two legs and glares at me and I glare back at her before her expression softens and I lean against the tree

Sam: "hey Luke" I look up at her and she's smirking "there's a junkyard a bit a ways from here" I perk up a bit "wanna break some junked stuff" I crack a small smile

Nora POV

I sigh and pick up some of the glass pieces from the door

Todd: "maybe you should tell him about his father" I turn and glare at him but he doesn't falter "he's a kid wanting to know who his real father is and you need to stop clinging to that hate you have against James" I keep glaring before sighing and slumping a bit

Me: "how can I explain that his father is a coward who left when I told him I was pregnant?" He pulls me into a hug and I hug him back "I just don't know what to do Todd" he takes me back into the house

Sam POV

I groan pushing with all my might but can't move the junked car and I hear Luke laughing

Luke: "can't push a two ton car?" I stop and glare at him but smirk and step back

Me: "oh yeah then why don't you try?" He smirks and pops his knuckles stepping forward and kicks it sending it flying off the ledge and smashing onto the pile down below

Luke: "ha yeah I'm the be-" He groans wrapping his arms around himself and falls on his knees

Me: "Luke?" I step forward and he yells slamming his hand down and it starts to warp and get bigger and the rest of him follows

He yells which starts to turn into a roar as he gets taller and bigger and he roars one final time tearing through his shirt with muscle and I step back fur on end as he looks at his giant furry hands in fear

Luke: "WHAT'S HAPPENED TO ME!?" He steps back falling off the ledge and slamming onto the junked car pile below
