A New Hope

Chapter 12

For the first time since Saturday, I am not woken up by a Machado but that doesn't mean they aren't in my apartment when I wake up

"Morning Ethan wouldn't let me wake you because you were sick yesterday," Maya says when she sees I'm awake

"What are you doing?" I ask confused

"Looking for something to where my closet is severely lacking lately," she says and I laugh and head to the kitchen

"Morning, coffee?" E asks before handing me a cup 

"Morning thanks I was just coming to make some," I say and down it before getting ready and heading to school with the two of them

"So are you two together now?" Maya asks when we get to the school and we look at each other I shrug I'm not the best at expressing emotions or my feelings so I don't really know what to tell her but he just smirks and leans down to kiss me in front of everyone 

"HOPE ANDREA MIKAELSON!" I hear someone yell and I break the kiss to see Lizzie coming towards me and for a minute I am shocked

"It's Marshall," I say and excuse myself from Ethan and Maya to talk with her

"I remember everything," she says when we get to an empty room and she hugs me

"What do you mean you remember?" I ask pulling away and internally freaking out what if everyone starts remembering? Will Josie and Landon hate me for not telling them sooner? Will Landon expect to just pick up where we left off? Will I have to choose between my life as Hope Marshall and Hope Mikaelson? Do I still love Landon? all these questions just start running through my head and I have no clue how to answer any of them

"It came back last night after Jo did the dark magic everything started coming back in flashes. What's going on why don't people remember you? Oh My God, you went in Malivore and everyone forgot you! Why haven't you told Landon? I mean I don't want Josie hurt but your love was like epic" she says and I sigh

"They're good together they're happy together and I'm kinda into Ethan we have a date tonight," I say and she sighs 

"Who else knows?" she asks 

"Rafael remembers everything too probably because he was in wolf form and wolves think differently than humans anyway he's sworn to secrecy and so are you," I say and she sighs 

"So you aren't going to try and get Landon back?" she asks

"Lizzie I'm trying to move on for the first time in my life I have a shot at actually being normal I mean I know I'll never really be normal but people aren't treating me like I'm a Tribreed freak here I'm human and so is everyone else nobody even questions it," I say and she rolls her eyes 

"You're not normal why would you want to be your Hope Fricken Mikaelson your the most powerful witch alive and that's not even counting the fact that your also a wolf and have Klaus Mikaelson's blood running through your veins people forgetting doesn't change that," Lizzie says

"But it does Hope Mikaelson was never born, meaning for the first time in my life I'm safe. My dad has been dead for 3 years but he has a lot of enemies that's the main reason I went to the Salvatore School to begin with, because it was the only safe place for me but when I went in that pit they all forgot I existed" I say and she sighs

"Ok at least you seem to have gotten better taste QB's hot," she says and I laugh

"I missed you, Lizzie, even you hating me you should meet me at lunch I'll introduce you to Ethan and his sister Maya she's declared herself my best friend," I say and then fill her in on everything before heading to class than during lunch I meet up with Lizzie and introduce her to Ethan and Maya 

"Are you replacing me?" Maya asks 

"Technically I knew her first but my sister is dating her ex and Jo can't stand her so no I am not replacing you," Lizzie says and I laugh 

"So where are you two going tonight?" she asks and I look at E who laughs 

"Technically you asked me out but yeah I'll plan it," he says and both Lizzie and Maya squeal

"I take it you're both going to get me ready," I say and they both start going over all kinds of outfits and I turn to Ethan 

"Ok you don't have to tell me where we're going but please tell them so they know how to dress me and plz tell them not to go overboard," I say and he laughs

"Yeah and 6 hours of shopping wasn't overboard," he says and I pout

"Wait you went shopping for 6 hours without me" Lizzie whines and I laugh 

"It was torture E was the only thing that got me through it," I say and we finish out the day before Ethan drives me and the girls to my apartment 

"I'll pick you up at 7," he says and we head in and they basically shove me into the bathroom to shower then I am given my outfit and they fuss over my hair and makeup. When they are done I have to admit I look great but I also think they went overboard. (A/N: picture above)

"I love and hate you both" I say and they laugh and leave before Ethan shows up 

"You look great," E says when I open the door and I smile 

"Thanks, I can say the same about you," I say and lock the door behind me before following him to his truck and he pulls up to a carnival two towns over 

"You can walk in those right? I thought they'd put you in flats" he says and I laugh 

"Lizzie probably remembered that my Aunt Rebekah made me wear 6 inch heels for two weeks straight in preparation for her wedding it was harder than it sounds but I can walk in heels now no problem, besides these are like half an inch tops," I say and he smiles

"Good come on," he says and pulls me to the ticket booth  and we do some rides play some games he wins me a stuffed wolf which is really cute and then we eat a bunch of carnival foods before heading back to my apartment and we end up laying in my bed and watching Netflix

"I should go," he says around 11

"Wait can you stay I just I don't really want to be alone," I say and he nods 

"Ok I'll have Maya cover for me moms got the late shift so it shouldn't be a problem," he says and I hug him and go change into a tank top and shorts before coming back and climbing into bed with Ethan and we make out for a while before I heard the front door slam open

"HOPE ANDREA MIKAELSON!"
