Chapter 7: Hunt For Pride

The sins sat around a table, Escanor's whereabouts being the conversation at hand. Skylar had separated herself, her feet kicked back onto a table and her arms holding her head. She had her eyes closed, barely listening to the soft murmurs of her team. Ban caught eye of her from behind the bar, her soft delicate features were peaceful not a concern graced them. This made Ban smile, he approached her grabbing her feet letting them plummet to the ground in a big thud. Her eyes shot open to see the person responsible her eyes met his, she smiled rolling her eyes.

"You should listen in, Escanor might need out help..." He whispered causing Sky to cackle. 

"Yeah right, because Escanor need out help. We need his more like it! The man's a fucking machine! He is powered by the sun! What's next? He's allergic to rocks? Pfft." She exclaimed. She nodded her head, remember the time the Escanor accidentally mistook her as an enemy. Let's just say she didn't leave a bath of aloe vera for two months...

She shuddered at the memory, rubbing her skin of the past pain. Ban laughed quietly also remembering the event, she smelled like a cookout for months after that. They would tease her and threaten to take a bite out of her since she was cooked.

"It wasn't funny! That shit hurt like hell, literally!" She whispered-yelled. This caused Ban to laugh even more, they continued to giggle for fifteen minutes thinking that they hadn't been caught yet. 

"What is sooo funny that has you two so entertained?" Diane asked, a smirk on her lips insinuating that they were speaking of other things. Ban pointed at Sky as they continued to wheeze at one another's wheezing which started a never ending cycle of them just laughing. 

"Remember when....haha...Sky got her ass ROASTED by Escanor and we called her a Spicy Chicken Wing for months!" He said through fits of laughter which caused Sky to wheeze at this memory. Diane laughed at the sudden remembrance of this memory, now everyone was laughing except those who hadn't experienced the memory and well, Merlin who stood silently with a soft smirk also remembering that day.

"That shit was PRICELESS, even Captain put her name in the menu as a joke and people actually started to order a dish called 'Sky and Her Chicken Ass', that shit was phenomenal!" Ban continued, causing the group to laugh even harder. Sky had fallen on the floor and was rolling around in attempt to stop laughing, she was now in pain. The laughter began to die down as the sins wiped tears from their eyes. 

"Oh, I forget these things. We've had the most fun with Sky around." King said as he wiped his tears from his face. Everyone mumbled in agreement.

"Yeah Sky, moments like those really make me realize how much we really missed you..." Diane joined, Sky awed and began to hug the group.

"Yeah we missed you, chicken headass..." Ban said, Sky rolled her eyes and hugged him. He placed a kiss on her forehead, no one was surprise since their affection was always platonic. Well, at least they all thought.

"Alright, I have coordinates on him. If we head there now, we can be there by sundown to avoid another mishap." Merlin stated causing Sky to flip her off. Meliodas nodded.

"Probably, I'll get Hawks Mom moving." He stated, and the sins were off to hunt for pride.

"Where in the HELL are we?!?" Sky asked as her voice echoed back from the canyon. Merlin smiled and pushed her sphere forward.
