Chapter 15: Lose the Battle, Win the War

After the attack on Camelot, Merlin had suggested that they all went to Istar to train and recover some power that she had taken from Meliodas. Against Sky's arguments, she didn't have much of a choice⏤Escanor grabbing her and slinging her over his shoulder. She was more than upset, no⏤ she was furious because she was now surrounded by a The Sappy Bunch that seemingly always find a way to upset her. 

The tavern shook as Hawk's mom travelled across the land, the sins casually conversing with each other, a cold aura coming from the corner where the silverette sat. They sweat-dropped as her glare hardened when Ban offered her an ale, hastily accepting. The only people she'd respond to being Merlin, Arthur and occasionally Hawk. Even Elaine, the person Sky had somehow resurrected, avoided her at all cost knowing that Ban and Sky had a fling.

Momma Hawk halted, jerking everyone: except Sky, forward. Everyone peeked out, noticing that they were in the middle of the grasslands.

"Hey, we're in the middle of no where! Fan-freaking-tastic!" Ban exclaimed, Sky rolled her eyes in response and jumping off. She landed gracefully the only sound being of her cloak in the wind. She walked calmly passed stones and into a set of alter stones. 

"Wow, these were used by the druids, were they not Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth's voice rang. They walked behind Sky, Meliodas have a terse nod.

"They still are..." Sky droned out as they appeared to be in a different land. The landscape was beautiful, vast green grass decorated the floor as wondrous waterfalls splattered rainbows around. Elizabeth gasped as they walked in.

"Hey look at that! The doors were open." Meliodas exclaimed walking past Sky, who kept her calm pace. She watched at the sins greeted the Druids: Jenna, Leo and Zaneri. She scoffed at Zaneri's naive actions as she placed Meliodas's hand on her chest. The only person left to greet was Skylar herself who held a slight smirk when Jenna turned to her. Jenna smiled, opening her arms and wrapping them around Sky.

"Sky! It's been so long! You've gotten hotter since the last time I saw you!" Jenna exclaimed checking her out. Sky winked as she posed a bit.

"You know it baby, only for you of course." She teased. Jenna laughed as the sins and the rest stared confusedly.

"Uh did I miss something?" Hawk called out. Sky chuckled, draping her arm around Jenna's neck.

"Back in the day, Jenna and I were lovers. Isn't that right, babe?" She said, Jenna simply nodded. Everyone's jaw dropped at the sudden knowledge of Sky's sexuality. Merlin simply nodded her head [in her sphere, of course], a slight smirk on her lips and Meliodas chuckled already knowing this.

"Wait a fucking minuet you're-" Ban stuttered out. Sky furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah! I swing both ways, so what?" She demanded, Ban held his hands up in defense causing the rest to laugh.

"Nothing, that's just kinda hot, maybe Elaine, you and I coul- Ow!" He was interrupted by Elaine and King who knocked him upside the head. He chuckled at his blushing girlfriend, who was very flustered at her boyfriend's infringing and perverted mind. Sky laughed whole-heartedly, which caused the team to smile. Finally the mood was put down by a very impatient Zaneri.

"Meliodas, the tower is waiting for you. Should we get started?" Her cold voice announced, everyone flinched at the sudden change of tone. Meliodas nodded, as Zaneri walked towards the towers along with Elizabeth. Suddenly others popped out go the neighboring training towers, burnt to a crisp.
