Chapter 8: Something Else

It had been a couple days after Sky and Ban's date, the entire group was in shock to learn that they were now together. After all he was obsessed with reviving Elaine, but they were happy for the two young lovers. In fact everyone gushed over their love, always teasing and joking.

Sky was currently sharpening some daggers for Elizabeth, they had been continuing their lesson and surprisingly enough she was becoming better. She even cut Sky once on the knee. Sky hummed a soft tune as her eyes focused on the blades, she felt a kiss being settled on her head causing her to smile and look up to see Ban settling two mugs of ale on the table in front of them.

"What are you up to, beautiful?" He asked as she took a sip from the mug. She chuckled at his corny ways, she held up two daggers.

"I'm sharpening these for Elizabeth. Captain thought it would be a good idea to give her a distance weapon, right Cap?" She motioned to the silent blonde who only gave a brief nod, all his attention on cleaning some glasses. 

"Huh, well after your done could you come help me with something in the bathroom." He whispered, her eyes furrowed.

"What is in the bath- Ohhh! Yeah I'll be there in a bit." She teased. He laughed as he leaned into her.

"Yeah?" He said causing her to giggle nodding her head and placing a kiss on his lips. Their kiss was cut short by the sound of something cracking loudly. Their heads snapped to where Meliodas one stood, they looked each other in confusion. Sky looked at Ban and shrugged.

"So after our bath we should go out for a walk, I'm feeling romantic." He offered, Sky rolled her eyes, she pushed him away.

"Go shower, I'll be there in a minuet." She said, he gave a smirk and began to climb the stairs. Sky nodded her head, she sighed in satisfaction as she placed the daggers on the table. She began to head towards the stairs only to stop suddenly. She looked at the broken glass on counter, and began to follow the trail of faint blood out the back door. She was met with dozens of trees that were ripped from the roots and thrown. 

"Did Mel do this?" She questioned, sensing his power emitting for the broken branches. She looked to the clearing debating whether or not to follow him, ultimately she made her choice to return to the tavern and meet her lover.

When she opened the door, Ban was in the tub with his eyes closed. She smirked and began to slowly strip, the calm aura now brimming with utter intimacy and excitement. Ban's eyes began to trace her body, ignoring all the imperfections that were inflicted on her. His eyes ate the image of her soft plump body, goosebumps rising across his skin. She smirked, slipping into the warm water her back to him. The sound of moving water interrupted the buzzing silence, she felt kisses being trailed against her skin, like feathers falling then bouncing off her. She closed her eyes, leaning into his chest. 

"You know, you look a lot better without clothes..." He joked, she smiled splashing him with water.

"Shut it, jerk face. Scrub me down will ya?" She demanded, he nodded grabbing the cloth and scrubbing her skin softly, not to hurt her. 

"What do you think happened with Captain?" She asked, Ban was silent in thought, not sure how to respond because he too didn't know what had happened with him. Then an idea popped into his head.

"Maybe he was jealous because after all this time, I'm the one you chose. Lemme tell you, you chose wisely, I'll make you scream like no other." He teased, she laughed as he flipped them over. Waves of water sloshed over them as they kissed intimately. Soon the room was filled with sounds of lust, everyone downstairs had a smirk on written on their faces. 

"My man, Ban! After all this time, finally getting some!" Howzer cheered causing the group to chuckle except of the blonde who sat away from the group drinking ale, his bloodied knuckles hidden from the rest.

Foot steps coming down the stair made the group stop their conversations come to a stop, they were met by the two couples holding hands. Sky held a subtle smile, different to Ban wide smirk as he wiggles his brows to the group of men who cheered him on. Sky rolled her eyes and joined the ladies who only giggled.

"How'd it go?" Diane teased as she sipped her beer. Sky gave them a grin and shrugged.

"Let's just say that I had remind the man that I was a live being that needed to breath every once in awhile." She said, Diane laughed pounding their feet against the Boar Hat's floor. Elizabeth sat there blushing at the information given to them.

"We should have a sleepover today ya'know. I'll spill all the details and we could I don't know have a girls night." She suggested, Elizabeth's face lit up at the idea of having a girls night in.

"Yes! We can paint each others nails, even help figure out outfits for tomorrow!" Diane chimes, Sky nodded motioning to Merlin.

"You want in?"She asked, Merlin smiled.

"I wouldn't mind some girl time, it might even be fun." She said. Sky stood up and clapped her hand.

"That's it then, tonight a girls night in my room." She pointed to Ban who had been bragging about his experience to his friends, in detail.

"Hey hun, I'm kicking you out of our room tonight! Have fun with King, maybe you could even bunk with Captain." She suggested, Ban's jaw dropped.

"But babe⏤" 

"Don't but babe me, you need a night with you friends or something. Our room will be occupied and that final, understood?" She said sternly. Ban frowned, his friends laughing at the fact that he was being yelled that.

"Fine..." He agreed. Howzer and King began to tease him about being whipped. The girls gave her a high five.

"All right girls! Tonight it is!"
