Truth About Love

chapter 22

After our day at the pool, everybody decided to leave, so did Aaron and I. We left the house to go have dinner somewhere other than home and just to have a moment of us. He said that he had a special place for us to eat and I was very curious. He said I should wear a nice dress and pumps because I needed to be extra comfortable.  I listened and wore a very beautiful blue dress with white pumps.

We got to the LA gardens and it was the most beautiful place in LA and he booked it just for us. We walked deep in the gardens, walking past the rainforest, river, making our way to the waterfall, he held my hand through this whole process. I mean I knew where we were going but why was he rushing." Baby, please slow down."

" We are almost there," he said and sighed deeply, I just let Aaron control my walking. We got to the waterfall and there was a cute picnic step up. Little lights that made the place look beautiful,  it was just perfect and it was done by my beautiful husband. God how I loved him so much, I walked to the set up then went down and sat and got comfortable and so did Aaron, " thank you Aaron."

" It's my pleasure, just wanted to make your night" he said as he poured me a glass of lemonade. We were going to have sandwiches for dinner and I was cool with it because we had a really huge lunch. I took my lemonade and my plate of sandwiches and just savored the taste." So tell me about your mom," he said and I looked up at Aaron and I couldn't believe he asked me that.

I wasn't mad that he did it's just I was surprised that he did it." Well, and we were so close that people thought it was unbelievable. I loved her so much there was even a point where I loved her more than my dad "

" Why was that?"

" I lived with her and my dad was busy with the elections to become president of the world, but I still loved him. We did almost everything, when she had shows I would be backstage watching her and mimicking her dance moves and at the end, she would call me out and ask me to join her with the last number of the song and that day we both knew that I was going to be a singer"

" What else?"

" We spoke a lot about honestly everything, I mean I was 8 at the time but still we spoke and I loved it."

" What was her name."

" Azalea Milano Fernández."

" So you were named after her and you also want to name our daughter after her," I nodded then drank my juice and he said, "when you found out your mom is sick and going to die, how did you feel?"

" It was the most horrible feeling because I honestly couldn't imagine my life without her. She said that before her last day I shouldn't think about it and it was easy because we did everything together and I never went to school, I wanted to spend every moment with her."

" And on her last day."

" In the morning she was going to be gone already, so I spent the night before, with her just talking and she gave me her things and asked me to promise her to be come to a singer and sing the songs she wouldn't be able to sing," tears were running down my face, but I wanted to carry on, " we sang our favorite songs together then we said our goodbyes.

When I said goodbye, I burst out in so many tears I couldn't believe it. I kissed her cheek then she hugged me tightly and we slept.  when I woke up and woke her up, she was gone. I cried a lot."

" Wow, I'm so sorry."

" She was so beautiful and sweet and gentle, I mean I couldn't even believe how amazing she was."

" You miss her a lot don't you?" I wiped my tears off my face and said " so much it's not even human," he came closer to me and he hugged me hard then kissed me forehead. " love you, baby," he said and I was glad he never said it's okay because it wasn't I mean, I'm 25 and I was still crying for my mom, who died 17 years ago. " I love you too Aaron." I let go then sat back down and drank my juice.

Aaron played a sweet melody then stood up and took my hand, I got up then we danced in the grass." Why are we dancing?"

" You could say we are practicing for our first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Johnson."

" Well then let's practice away from my love." We danced under the stairs as we were going with the music. He turned me around then did dip and carried on dancing. We looked into the eyes of each other and we hugged danced. We just got lost in the moment.

I loved the time I was sharing with Aaron, he was mine for the rest of my life, and to be honest I couldn't be anymore happier about it. We let go then just spent the night talking, laughing, kissing of course, and just enjoying each other's company.

We got home at around midnight then went to our room, got into our pajamas them cuddled in bed. " Milano do you ever think about what would have happened if we didn't bump into each other at a store?"

" No not really but since you mentioned, now I'm thinking about it."

" I mean you might have moved on and so would I, we wouldn't be here together right now expecting a baby."

" I call it fate and true love, if it wasn't fate or true love, we wouldn't be together at all so you should thank fate, he or she brought us here today."

" I guess I should," he said and I smiled.  Aaron kissed my cheek and said, " you are so beautiful you know that right." I looked at him, smiled, and said, "thank you," we kissed and enjoyed the beautiful kiss. My night was made by this sexy god cuddling with me, I was honestly blessed and I was going be a mama. I was ready to build a family with my soulmate.
