chapter 16

We woke up in the bar, I was lying on the floor and the others were laying awkwardly in different places. I got up and I had a massive headache. I was having a shit hangover l, but it was worth it because from I could remember it was the best night last night.

When I got up I was only wearing my jeans and bra, my shirt was nowhere to be found and there were drink bottles everywhere and the room smelled of hard of liquor.

I got out of the bar and went to the kitchen, the sun was burning my eyes, it was still early in the morning so why was the sun so bright and looking like a sunset. I walked into the kitchen to check the time and to my greatest shock, it was 16:45 PM. We slept the whole day through and I still felt like I needed rest. "Hey what time is it?"

" Almost 5 PM."

" My God, we had a rough night last night, didn't we?"

" You could say that but I had fun Jacky,"

" No lie, but I only remember coming home and shit went down in the bar and that's it?"

" Don't worry I feel the same," I said as I took an aspirin. Everyone walked into the kitchen and instantly made coffee, I asked for a cup because it was well needed. Aaron walked up to me and I said " Awww baby you look a mess, " he kissed me and he tasted like sky vodka, he tasted real good.
He let go and said, " you taste like whiskey baby."

" And you taste like vodka my love."

" My hangover will end soon then because the cure of a hangover is having the same drink the next day."

" Well then drink me away," he leaned in and we kissed hard and sensationally, obviously his theory wasn't working but I kissed him because I was marrying a good kisser.

I let go and said, " baby it ain't working."

" I know Milano but I don't care, I'm kissing you and that's what matters," I wanted to smile but I ran to the guest toilet and vomited hard in the toilet.  It must have been last night's aftershock and it kicked in hard." Hey, Milano are you ok?"

" Yeah Aaron just last night's aftershock but I'm fine baby,"  I got up to wash my face and after that I went out of the bathroom and went to the bedroom. I just wanted to lye down and rest because my head was pounding and my tummy was still soar.

I walked into my room and changed into my pajamas, got in bed, and rested while Aaron kept me company.

I woke up and I ran to the toilet again and vomited hard and it was even very painful. I stopped and got out of the bathroom,  Aaron was standing there busy on his phone, " hey how are you feeling?"

" Um I feel... I feel" then I fell and all I could see was black.

1 month later...

I woke up and Jacky, Ariana, Vanessa, Scott, dad, Evan, and my grandmother were all sitting there and looking sad and lost." What's going on?" I asked as I sat up and looked at everyone, " why do you guys look sad and worried?"

" You have been out for 1 month," said my dad as he walked to me and caressed my forehead, " what do you mean I was out for a month, where is Aaron?"

"he went home to freshen up but he is coming back, he has been here for a month worried sick about you. He wouldn't even eat because he couldn't stand the fact that he was healthy and you weren't." My dad said and I felt my heart breaking a little, my baby was hurting and he wasn't here for me to nature him.

Aaron walked into the room and when he saw me awake he dropped down and started to cry.  I got out of the bed then walked to Aaron. I went down on my knees and lifted his face, " I'm here baby, I'm here"

" I thought you were going to die when the doctor said you had a toxic shock in your body."

" I'm awake and you can feel my hands on your face," I said I kissed him so many times then said, " I'm kissing you, I'm not dead."

" I missed you so much," tears were running the mine and his eyes and it didn't want to stop. My man was dying and I needed him to know that I'm here and that there was no need for dying." Hold me, Aaron, " he looked up at me and he just stared at me with his beautiful eyes and I said, " hold me, I need you to hold me to reassure me that I'm here with you. Can you do that for me?" he hugged me tight and closed my eyes so I could enjoy the hug.

I wrapped my arms even tighter and so did he," I love you Milano."

" I love you too Aaron," I looked at him and then I kissed him and he responded back and it was sweet, soft, and tender.

We let go then we both got up and walked to the bed, " lay with me Aaron," he smiled then we both cuddled and waited for the doctor's results." Hi Vanessa,"

" Hi Milano, it's so good to have you back,"

" Thank you," I said and  Aaron kissed my forehead and played with my fingers." Cariño, tenemos que ir de compras vestido de novia( Darling, we have to go wedding dress shopping)"

" Oh, sí, como, me olvidé por completo cuando debemos hacerlo( Oh yes like, I totally forgot when should we do it)"

" Usted tiene una semana para recuperarse luego nos centramos en la boda bien objeto de consuelo( You have a week to recover then we focus on wedding ok lovey)"

" Está perfectamente bien abuela, es el momento nos hemos centrado en él( It's a perfectly fine grandmother, it's time we focused on it)" the doctor walked in and looked very happy that birthday was awake, " welcome back Ms. Fernández."

" Thank you doctor. So will I be ok?"

" Yes, you will just have a toxic shock that happens to most women so you will be fine."

"Why was I out for a month?"

" It happens, it's normal, so you can leave today."

" Thank you doctor." I was tired but very happy that I was going back home with my family.
