💓 Bonding Time 💓

Spinel was still wrapped up in the covers as Steven appeared. If they were going to get close at all, they would have to spend time together. They would have to have some bonding time. "Hey Spinel!" She looked to him, immediately wiggling out of the trap that I call the blankets. "Hey Steven! What brings you in here?" He snickered, "Well it is my room." He then said, "Oh and I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out with me?" Spinel smiled as she jumped out of the bed, "Sure, but what are we going to do?" Steven thought for a moment, "Hmm.. I have an idea!"

[ A few moments later.. ❤ ]

He brought Spinel to a park, she was curious in what this place was. "What are these little seats with chains?" Steven chuckled, "Those are swings." Spinel gasped in awe, "Ooh! Come! Come sit on the swings with me!" He nodded and sat in a swing beside her. "Do you want to know how to swing?" Spinel tilted her head, "I know how to swing something, but I don't know how to swing. So, yes! Tell me how!" Steven began to demonstrate, "Just kick off from the ground and when you go forward, kick your legs out, and when you go back, do your legs like this." He put his legs in a way you'd put them when you're sitting. Spinel widened her eyes in an amazed fashion. "Woahhh! Can I try?" The other said, "Of course you can!" She gave a smile and followed Steven's steps. She somehow almost fell out of the swing once, but she quickly got the hang of things. "Look, Steven! I'm doing it!" Steven looked over at her as he was, too, swinging. "Good job!" He jumped out of his swing and landed on his feet. Spinel made a '.o.' face, "I want to do that! But.. I'm afraid I won't land on my feet and I'll fall!" Steven went in front of her swing, but was at a distance. "If you jump, I can catch you!" Spinel smiled, "O- Okay!" She swung a few more times before jumping out of her seat. Steven caught her and he chuckled, spinning around with her in his arms. Haha hetero. She chuckled as well. Steven just realized the thing he did and blushed, beginning to put Spinel down. She stopped laughing, "It was fun when you twirled me around and around!" Steven tried to shake away the thought of how adorable this little Spinel seemed to be. Her eyes were shining with the eagerness to just play and have fun.. Something Pink Diamond never enjoyed doing with her. She probably misses days like this, a day where she has never ending fun and feels appreciated. Spinel hasn't had that much often. "If you w- want me to spin you around, I can." Steven offered, to make her feel better. He doesn't want her sad. Spinel smiled and nodded, "Yay! Spin me around!" Steven picked her up from under her arms and began twirling around. He chuckled as he did so, and so did Spinel. "Wheeeee!" Steven was glad she was having fun. He was glad that he was having fun. Well, this sure was some bonding time!
