This day was just about like any other day, cute and calm. Except, there's a slight difference in this day from the others. You'll see as you keep reading on just what I mean by those words! Anyway, let us get read what we really came here to read, shall we?

[ Feburary 21st .. ❤ ]

Spinel was walking home with Steven after getting an order of chocolate donuts with sprinkles on top of them. She looked up at the sky, "I like the color of the sky, it's light and simple, but also blue. Blue represents sadness in some cases. So, it's like a simple sad color." Steven looked up after what she said, "That seems about right." He didn't want to run into anything, so he began looking forward once again, fairly close to the beach house. "I wish we had something new to do," he sighed. Spinel looked back down and chuckled softly, "There's always something new to do here, for me, atleast. I don't know much about this planet, after all." Steven thought about it and nodded, "You'reee.. Right, actually! I could do almost anything with you here because you hardly know anything about Earth and what we do on it!" She nodded, "Yes, exactly." He gave a slight smile and put an arm around Spinel, "Anyway, let's get home." The other gem stretched out her arm and reached for the Beach House. When she finally grabbed it, she got a good grip on Steven with her other arm. Then, she jumped up and let her stretched out arm pull her and him to the house. She put her foot on the ground to stop the both of them. She let go of Steven and the part of the Beach House as she headed for the door. Steven came after her. They quickly opened the door, and they saw a furry little thing with a big nose and teeth. Amethyst looked to them and held it up, "Found it in town! It was just wandering." Spinel widened her eyes and stayed where she was, "What is that thing?!" Steven went over and picked it up, "It's a puppy, Spinel! It won't hurt you!" She narrowed her eyes, "I don't trust it." He chuckled, "It's nice, look! Pet it." She came over to him and she leaned up against the wall, staring at the dog. "What if it uses those teeth on my hand?" Steven shrugged, "You're stronger than him anyway, you'd be able to handle it!" She thought for a moment and then touched the dog's head. It was soft. Spinel calmed down and kept on petting it, until it licked her hand. "It's trying to eat me already!" Amethyst was laughing as Steven tried not to. "It- It just likes you!" Spinel raised an eyebrow and then pet it more, she then realized the cuteness of the little demon and she grabbed it from out of Steven'a grasp. Amethyst came up beside Steven, "I was going to call it Tanner, because it's tan." He looked to her, "That sounds like a good name." He just chuckled and looked back at Spinel, who was just petting the dog in awe.
